I miss EVB!!! They merged with Sona a little while ago and I've had problems ever since. I will be closing my account next week and moving to another bank. The online app is always having problems, the hours are very inconvenient and the staff isn't as friendly.

Do not use this bank. We used them between 2013 and 2017 for a mortgage and for a few short term CDs. Sonabank has not kept up with the industry standards for banking websites or apps. Everything is still done the old way, by phone or walk in. Everything is difficult - their customer service is suspicious and bureaucratic, their office hours are shorter than any other bank around, and it seems their rules and procedures are designed to hold on to your money. I closed all my accounts yesterday and moved to a more customer friendly bank. This bank is sure to go out of business soon.
