“Had a very good experience at the McLean Shoe Fly store - also known as Ritchey's. Alick spent a lot of time with me, watching me walk in my old walking shoes, spotting my pronation and other characteristics of how I walk. I explained that I walk on sidewalks every day and have arthritis in one knee and so need support and cushion, etc. We tried several types of shoes and he stuck with me until we found one that feels great and provides what I need. “I shopped here a couple of weeks ago during the daytime for my son. Alicia was friendly and welcoming. She was very knowledgeable about shoe brands, shoe models, and which sizes run small or large which is so helpful! We got him the perfect kicks for all summer long.Then my youngest was asking for new shoes too. I figured to show him that his were fine, until we checked his toes and even sized him using the measuring tools. . . Turns out he needed new shoes too! Alicia was quick to help find him the style and size we needed. She definitely made my shopping easier and I really appreciated that.”

“Not sure what’s up with the negative reviews especially regarding returns here. I had a wonderful experience exchanging three pairs of shoes that I ordered online in the wrong size. I ordered them during a sale too which made things more complicated on the store’s end since the sale was no longer active. But even with that complication, they had no problem assisting me with my exchange and I am very thankful for their help.

The manager, Crystal, was incredibly patient and kind with helping me replace three pairs of shoes for the correct size while ensuring that I get them for the sale price I originally paid for them. I am extremely appreciative of the effort that Crystal put into helping me with this exchange when she easily could’ve sent me off on my own to initiate the exchange online.

The other associates seemed to do a great job ringing up guests and making sure they were taken care of as well. Overall, I have zero complains for this location and would absolutely suggest that others shop here.

Too many people on here want to be treated like they’re royalty when they walk into a store. I can’t believe the audacity and expectations in some of these reviews. I will certainly be shopping at this location more often. They’re great!”

“I visited over the weekend in hopes of leaving with a new blazer. I was quickly greeted and assisted by an associate named Priscilla, who could not have been more helpful. She brought in suggestion items and outfits for me in the dressing room, all while greeting and assisting other customers trying on items as well. She and her associates were attentive, caring, and truly made an effort to make sure I had a positive experience! Priscilla exhibited small business/mom & pop store behavior at a corporation located in a mall, which I was not expecting, but deeply appreciated. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional customer service I received from Mr. Syed Hasan last December at the Macy's store in Tyson's Corner Shopping Mall. Last Christmas, I treated myself to a brand-new Comforter set, with all the bells and whistles. I made a purchase online but received the wrong color Euro pillow shams. During my search for the matching color, a manager at The Pentagon City mall informed me that Tyson's Corner had the covers I needed. Although it was my first visit to Tyson's Corner, I was able to find the matching Euro sham, but I encountered a slight challenge in conveying my request to the salesman at the counter. Despite the sales for that particular pillow cover being over, I was attempting to make an even exchange for the correct color to keep the discount, but the salesman was trying to make a return and then charge me for the cover at the current price. I was a little frustrated, because I just completed the same transaction at the Pentagon City mall, but they only had one pillowcase, so I had to drive to Tyson's Corner location to find the other one. This is when Mr. Syed Hasan came to my rescue. His assistance was nothing short of outstanding, especially during the hectic holiday season when the store was bustling with customers. His kindness and patience made a significant impact on my overall shopping experience. With Mr. Hasan's intervention, the exchange was successfully completed, and I was delighted to have the correct Euro cover in hand. Not only did Mr. Hasan resolve my exchange issue, but he also assisted me with a specific brand of Euro sham inserts to match my set. These inserts were not available at the Pentagon City store, and Mr. Hasan, along with one of his associates, accompanied me to the bedding section of the store. There were no inserts on the floor, but Mr. Hasan and his associate checked the inventory in the back of the store and located two pillow inserts for me. To my surprise and delight, we discovered that the Euro shams were on sale, marked down from $100 to $25 - a genuine bargain. What made my visit truly memorable was the exceptional customer service provided by Mr. Hasan. It is rare to encounter sales representatives who genuinely want to assist customers, especially during the busy holiday season. Mr. Hasan dedication and helpfulness truly touched my heart, and I believe it is crucial for the management at Macy's to be aware of the outstanding qualities he brings to the team. I sincerely hope that you acknowledge and appreciate the gem of a sales representative you have in Mr. Hasan. “I visited the watch and jewelry department in October 2023. The selection is a pretty good size with both new and pre owned watches. They have Piaget, Franck Muller, and Hermes watches as well as used Rolexes, omega, Breitling, and Cartier. I didn't look at the jewellery much, but the selection is also very nice with some high end pieces. I was assisted by Laila and she is very kind and helpful. I looked at a couple Rolexes and they were all in decent shape and at market prices. They even have a gold Patek that is incredible. If I decide to get a Piaget, I would get it from here. Hermes and Franck Mueller are the 2 main brands though.”
