This has to be the busiest Sephora in Northern Virginia. They also have the most comprehensive stock though. If you’re looking for a specific brand they will most likely have some in stock. We came for Glossier and Pat McGrath products specifically. Unless you preorder for pickup expect a long wait at checkout. Staff were very helpful with finding products - be sure to ask if you don’t see it out because they do keep stock in the back. Aside from the crowds this is a great Sephora. Plenty of parking in mall lots.

Today I travel 3 hours to this location bc it really has good products, I understand I went 15 minutes before closing but as soon as I walk in the girl at the door say that they were closing in 5 minutes so I rush and I picked my favorites products, and I was looking for a specific product I ask one of the workers as soon I walked to her she said we are closing in 5 minutes she didn’t let me ask her nothing she walked away, I went back to her and ask her and she didn’t even show me where or tell me where was the product all she said “ we are closing in 2 minutes you need to go the line” there was a big line I told her that I was looking for a specific product she gave me a dirty look and walked away! I never found the product I wanted. I just walked to the line, unfortunately it was her again she didn’t even said anything to me she just scanned everything, didn’t tell me hey,the total,or have a good day!! This girl was the rudest person ever I don’t even know how she work here!! I’m a professional makeup artist and I’m sure that people that works in the beauty industry shouldn’t make people NOT welcome and be rude!! This a such a great company but they need to be careful who they hire!!! Not coming back to this store and also is the 2 time I went here and there’s always a bad experience, first time I went and there was a girl being RACIST to my friend when she was matching her foundation!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

One of the worst shopping experiences of my life. I just moved to the area and will now avoid this Sephora location.As the mother of a toddler, finding time to get to the mall for something personal, can be scarce but it shouldn’t be this stressful.The way a manager spoke to me reduced me to tears. The male manager raised his voice at me, talked over me, and refused to find a compromise or problem solve the issue at hand. Another manager, named Rachel, told me she’d be fired for helping me. It was such a strange and negative shopping experience void of any element of customer service.Despite being a Rouge customer at Sephora for years, the way the management at the Tysons Corner Sephora treated me, has strongly influenced me to shop for my beauty products elsewhere.

I wanted to share some feedback about my recent experience at your store. Unfortunately, I was met with a lack of friendliness and felt rushed by the cashier. There was no greeting, and the interaction felt quite rude, leaving me with a negative impression. I believe everyone deserves a pleasant shopping experience, and I hope this feedback can be used to improve customer service moving forward.First and foremost, I’d like to say I traveled 1 hour to this location because all the other locations had the product I needed out of stock. I tried visiting 3 Sephoras before this location in 2 days. None of them had what I needed in stock. Being in this location I was super excited once I spotted the product that even my husband asked me, “Are you happy you found it?” Which I truly was!!!! He knew how much I wanted this product and how hard I’ve been looking around for it. Right after I got in line. I was up next & heard a very rude “NEXT!!!”. You know when someone speaks up with a higher voice to be heard, compared to someone yelling to be rude. I didn’t think anything of it at the time until now, because I naturally gave this lady the benefit of the doubt.Once I approached the register, this individual was silent and I initiated with greeting her right away. ZERO response. My husband greeted her a few seconds after me and ZERO response. Right off that first interaction we noticed her vibe and were appalled.There was no eye contact, no interest in giving good customer service. She will turn to her coworkers and seem more interested in helping or speaking to them and step away from the register making you feel like you’re a burden there or like she doesn’t like her job. She directed my husband to put his card in and turned right away. Not knowing we were paying cash. My husband got the cash out and was giving it to her to which she left his hand with the money handing for a good while. What was she doing? Talking and not looking. Not once did she ask how our payment would be and even if it’s not a question they need to ask, she would know my husband’s hand was out. She will push the purchase towards you. This lady had her routine questions to ask which were very rude. Once she asked me to enter my phone number for my account and the number wasn’t right, she had an awful attitude. Which I proceeded with telling her it’s actually my email that I usually put in.I’ve worked customer service for almost 10 years. I’m not expecting to go in there and make friends with anybody or even have a conversation there but I do expect some common courtesy and professionalism. This was by far the worse Sephora location I’ve been to. I usually shop online or go to Ulta. I used to shop at Sephora for many years before and my sister started getting me back into shopping at Sephora but this definitely made me not even want to go back to this location atleast. Not even if they have a product in store I would much rather wait a whole week if need be.Seems like no one has said or done anything which makes me question if this is a manager. Regardless, this lady lacks hours of training.

Terrible customer service experience. Purchased a perfume in Dec 2023 for a Christmas gift and it was broken inside the box. Was told by customer service multiple times over the phone and in writing that I was to receive an exchange as long as I went to any store within 60 days after the purchase. Went to this location and was basically interrogated by the manager Lilly and was refused the exchange. She told she was going against the store’s policy and the email I had in writing from Store Relations.

I’ll never purchase anything from here due to poor customer service. Instead of being asked if I need help finding something, an employee walked up to me and asked if I planned to make a purchase or not. She didn’t say anything else and was incredibly rude about it because they were 15 minutes away from closing. I have walked in here numerous time, and I have yet to see good customer service once. I would recommend going to any other Sephora if you’re looking for good customer service.

I went to this store with my aunt because she loves makeup and when I entered I saw a worker and I wanted to ask her a question about eyebrow liner but the girl ignored me and I called her 3 times and the third time I tap her on her shoulder and the girl turned around all angry and insulting me. Very bad service, no one helps you and all the workers look at you badly.

Every time I go into this Sephora an old white lady with grey hair that works there follows me and harasses me every time I walk in racially profiling me. Disgusting behavior , if your a young black woman reading this and need to stop into this Sephora to shop, please reconsider as this woman looks for trouble with black women every time ! Disgusting behavior in 2023! She had to be a senior citizen, what an embarrassment working at a make up store harassing those who spend money.

Someone offered to help me right away. I don't usually buy makeup so was shocked that blush costs more than $40. The woman found a half-size version of the least expensive variety for me in a drawer under the main display, but unfortunately the colour I was considering was sold out

i was there this afternoon and was very un happy with my experience. i politely went up to an employee and explained how a product online said it was there but it wasn’t on the display when i check and i was just wondering if they could check to see if they had it underneath the display in storage or anywhere else. she was very rude and cut me off before i could even finish my statement. she didn’t even offer to check anywhere else in the store just cut me off saying “then we don’t have it” and walked away. i was just confused since online it said it was there but she was not understanding at all. this has happened to me more than once where i will ask an employee about a product, showing that it says it’s there online, and i am simply cut off or ignored. very bad customer service by this particular employee. i didn’t get her name but she was tall, blonde, and on the older side. very un happy with my experience in this store today.
