Chronically understaffed, resulting in a horrible experience. You spend 5 minutes shopping and 10 minutes waiting in line. Waited at self checkout with a dozen other folks because they had insufficient cashiers to keep line moving.

So the prices here are more expensive than other area grocery stores. Even Wegmans. But I kept coming here occasionally to get various toiletries. Today I went to get toilet paper. Big pack of 24 rolls for the store's Signature line had a price tag of 19.99 listed on the tag beneath the product. When I went to check out it rang as 24.99. I pointed out the discrepancy to the check-out helper and we walked over to the toilet paper area ourselves. He claimed it was for the 18 roll. When I pointed out that the 19.99 price tag was across the whole area he pleaded ignorance. I asked that the 19.99 price be granted to me for the larger size given their store's mistake. He said I had to talk to customer service. So I went to customer service carrying the big thing of toilet paper. Only problem? No customer service! After waiting and waiting I got frustrated, threw the toilet paper on the ground and walked out. I hope this place goes out of business and gets taken over by Lidl.

They have been out of milk more than once. You have to check expiration dates on everything. I've seen expired bread and salad dressing on the shelves. It is hard to find an employee to ask a question.

For the most part the Safeway is pretty good. The prices are nice considering the area that it's in and the store is very clean. My main complaint is that the customer service is non-existent. The amount of staff that hang around is annoying especially when there are no registers open and you have to ring yourself up when there are literally employees walking around. And with all those employees standing around doing nothing you would think that at least one of them would gather all of the shopping carts instead of leaving them clumped up and cluttered in the parking lot. Other than that is a pretty good store

Unprofessional price not match you will se the price at the line then when you go pay the price is more expensive at the cashier becarful when you buy from here

If they had some type of organization with management and employees trust me the store would run more smoothly and efficiently I understand companies get into shortages and short staff but still us as a community managers should be willing to listen to customers and either run their businesses more in a standard that works for everyone because transactions that can be done more quickly and easily

Never again in this store!
I was a regular for a 15 years. I am an old school, still using a computer and a simple cellphone.
In order to pay for a watermelon $3.99 it is not enough to have your club-card or the phone number!
The condition now is app and electronic coupons for the app!! Otherwise the watermelon is $8.99, and many other things are double or more expensive without the app!
Safeway team be aware that not all ppl have options to use the app!
I’ll be the 1st to give up and stop shopping at your store…

Staff is very friendly!!. Store is clean and well-managed. Yes, the prices at checkout are often higher than they are on the shelves. I’ve been cheated several times. But what can you do?

SAFEWAY PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS!-I PREDICT CUSTOMERS WILL START REVOLTING AGAINST THESE GROSSLY INFLATED PRICES AND SAFFEWAY WILL CLEARLY GET THE MESSAGE AND WILL THEN BEGIN LOWERINNG PRICES WITH BUY 2 FOR 1!-WE'LL SEE!-THESE INFLATED OUT OF CONTROL PRICES CAN'T BE SUSTAINED IN THIS REALLY INFLATED ECONOMY!

Customer service is terrible. Went to self checkout and one of the bakery items didn't have a barcode on it. Turned and asked the attendant what to do and she yelled back, "can't you see I'm helping someone." This lady should be moved to the back or fired if she can't be respectful to customers.
