The Rotonda Condominiums is a large residential community situated on 34 acres in the heart of Tysons Corner and McLean. It features five high-rise buildings with large apartment sizes, often larger than newer constructions. The grounds are well-maintained and beautiful with a beautiful landscape, appreciated especially in spring, summer, and fall. It is a peaceful and quiet community with kind people. Amenities are extensive, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, tennis courts, a game room, saunas, a walking trail, a children's corner, a basketball court, a soccer field, and mini golf. Its location is highly convenient, close to Tysons Galleria, The Boro, Showplace Icon Theatre, Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, and two Metro stops. There is plenty of outdoor parking, though garage spaces are limited. The buildings, built between 1978 and 1980, are old and require constant repairs and updates, reflected in high HOA fees. The community has over $7 million in reserves for these much-needed repairs. Some find the architecture with brown and tan bricks unattractive. As a gated community, security is present but has vulnerabilities, with past car break-ins noted. The views from some apartments face other buildings and the large parking lot. Overall, it is described as a great community with great management staff, though buyers are advised to weigh all attributes carefully.
I lived there for one and a half years, and there are pools, basketball court, soccer field, mini golf, etc. there. And people there are so kind.

Love the location, amenities and well kept grounds. The condo sizes are much larger than neighboring new construction. Love the tree view from my balcony
