Several pairs of shoes from this company. I walk long distances. I bought two pairs last week and one of the pairs was very Uncomfortable. Anytime I’ve been there I’ve been told that they have a 30 day return policy. When I took a pair back today, they told me that they only could be returned if they were worn in the house.Fortunately, there are other places that I can, and will buy shoes in the future.

Manager Marc- racist towards those who are not Caucasian. How? Wouldn’t provide a discount as a previous customer received the discount without any coupons or codes. Another gentleman provided the coupon and said we can still provide that to you. But Marc on the other hand very rude and tried to lie that the previous customer had a coupon.

Had a very good experience at the McLean Shoe Fly store - also known as Ritchey's. Alick spent a lot of time with me, watching me walk in my old walking shoes, spotting my pronation and other characteristics of how I walk. I explained that I walk on sidewalks every day and have arthritis in one knee and so need support and cushion, etc. We tried several types of shoes and he stuck with me until we found one that feels great and provides what I need. Very pleased and grateful. Thanks, Alick!

I once loved this very accommodating friendly shoe store primarily because they carried many stylish shoes...in wide width which are to extremely hard to find. Policy regarding servicing gals requiring wide width shoes has changed, unfortunately. Do stores really think women don't have wide feet...as do men? No problem there. My husband has wide feet has no problem buying shoes....but I have (and my two daughters, sister, a gal friend)... Please, Richey & co. Shoes (McLean location)...please reconsider and carry your many cute shoes...in wide width.

This shoe store is the best around. It’s the only place I buy shoes now. Quality products and great service.

Not impressed with the service. I feel as though they are doing me a favor when I ask about their shoes. The selection is pretty good but I feel as though they cater to a older crowd. If you are younger than 60, you probably will not get great service. However, if you are 60 plus, they may treat you better.

(DISCLAIMER: By default I have given one star - they deserve ZERO) I have been a Richey Shoe Store customer in Mclean, Virginia since it opened. We have always had a good experience until recently when they replaced my orthotic insoles. The custom order was delayed and when it was ready, it was oversized to the point of overhanging from the heel. We had to return to the store several times before we were able to meet with the individual who is in charge of orthotics. Please note that we had to go in person because they do not respond to phone calls or messages. We were advised that they have to resize the insole with a special machine. When we got the resized insole, a hatchet job was done on it. It appeared to have been cut by hand/scissors and was very uneven. When we pointed this out, we were told "not to worry about it" and that "it wouldn't cause any problems." I have been wearing orthotic insoles for over a decade and my last pair lasted for over ten years. This new and damaged pair didn't even last for 1.5 years. The person we dealt with has since retired and the new manager tried to blame the deficiency on wear and tear. In addition, he was very rude and insulting and would not acknowledge the poor workmanship, which caused the insole to wear out faster. When we requested the name and contact of the regional manager, he gave us the runaround until I requested the name of the store owner. We attempted to contact the owner via text messages to include pictures of the damaged insole and have yet to receive any response or acknowledgement. This service is unacceptable, save your money and go somewhere else where you will be valued as a customer.

Very disinterested staff. Almost seemed bothered by questions related to shoe lines and comfort.

I take care of a wonderful older woman who was having trouble keeping shoes on her feet. Richey was recommended to us and I must say the care and sensitivity they showed was exceptional and she is so pleased with her shoes I could not be happier! If you have issues that the regular shoe store can't solve this is the place!
