“Saved the day when Harris Teeter failed to fulfill my order. Arrangement was beautiful and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Should’ve know to go with a local professional in the first place. Will only be using Flowers & Plants in the future!”

“Highly recommended! Gardenology completely transformed our backyard garden that lacked a theme and had been overtaken by weeds and invasive plants. They approached the project with a clear vision but were also open to dialogue and refinement. They were able to move certain plants to better locations to save us some money and worked seamlessly with a hardscape contractor on site at the same time. Excellent horticultural knowledge and attention to detail; responsive customer service; and reasonable prices.”

Last minute job and they did a beautiful job as always. Everyone in shop is pleasant and works friendly. They will continue to get my business even in new location. Highly Recommended!”

“I don't know why I've never stopped by Miracle Garden Center before 2023, especially since I driven past many times over the years. I guess, mostly by habit, if I needed plants or flowers, I would drive a few more minutes up the road to the Home Depot, since I always thought HD was cheaper. I purchased my usual assortment from Home Depot of herbs (basil, cilantro, etc.) as well as a few tomato varietals in mid-March 2023, however, by late April most of the plants were dead. Granted, it was a colder than usual Spring season, but these plants should've been hearty enough to withstand a bit of frost. As I have a penchant for supporting small businesses, I decided to finally pop in the Miracle Garden Center, and departed asking myself, "what took me so long to check this place out?"Located off of busy Rt. 236 (Little River Turnpike), it is easy to miss this mom and pop business. Look for a white 1-story structure with the "Miracle Garden Center" signs affixed to the building. There are a few parking spots in front and around the side for easy access.Upon passing through the gates, I was struck by the sheer variety of vegetation ranging from indoor/outdoor flowers, mini-trees, and of course, plants for your garden. I picked up a few pepper varieties since I always love fresh chilis and got a fantastic price on some habanero, serrano, and Hungarian wax peppers. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have any Thai Chili plants, but the gentleman watering the plants indicated that their supplier didn't carry it this season. I also picked up a few tomato varietals such as Roma, cherry, and a Sungold. Of note, the Italian Basil, sweet mint, and Cilantro that I purchased a few weeks ago have also flourished in my garden since I planted them in late mid-May.No knock against them, but unlike my experiences asking questions of the staff at HD about frequency of watering, recommended amount of sunlight exposure, etc, the team at Miracle Garden are friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to share their their wealth of information. Now that I'm headed back into my office more often, I even picked up a snake plant for my desk, since this is a very "low maintenance" plant which is not only super easy to care for, but has numerous benefits (healthline.com/health/be…) including air filtration and oxygenation. Chatting with the staff, I understand they also carry seasonal items such as pumpkins in the Fall and Christmas trees during the winter. Miracle Garden Center is just the type of local business I love to support and recommend to the Yelp community.”

“This is a great place to purchase wholesale flowers for floral arrangements. Prices aren’t too bad and they typically have a wide variety of flowers, fillers and greenery. I have been able to purchase exactly what I needed to make floral arrangements for 3 different events. You’re able to go into the cooler and pick out everything yourself.”

“Arrived just before 5 on a Friday afternoon. I had called before I came and been told they closed at 6pm not 5.The people to help had left a bit early ( it had rained ). The gentleman who was there ( not one of the manual laborers) was exceptionally helpful. He could have just said ‘They are gone’ or ‘Not my job’. Instead he left what he was doing and loaded 10 bags of mulch into my car, and was exceptionally polite and kind.Thank you soo much Sir. You made my day - actually my whole weekend!! Blessings upon you and your family.”

“Maryland Gardens Tree and Shrub Farm is a great place. Located close, in North Potomac, it is large and filled with many different types of trees growing in the ground. The owner, Tom Moseley knows a lot about trees and bushes.Tom knows what kind of soil and how much sunlight is ideal v.s. tolerable for each plant. He is also knowledgeable about common tree diseases and pests (fungus, deer, etc.) and can guide one to a better choice of planting location or type of tree. Spring and fall are great times to plant trees and shrubs. (Late spring/summer heat and winter cold can be bad for a transplant.)We bought a Crepe Myrtle and a Magnolia from him in 2020 and they are both doing well. That is not the case with trees we have bought from others--from them only 1/2 the trees we bought survive 6-months. We returned in October 2022 and bought a flowering Crab Apple tree from the MD Gardens Tree and Shrub Farm. Tom Moseley provides the optional service of planting his trees and we had it done October 7th. This spring (April 2023), it bloomed magnificently. It's worth it to have Tom M plant because he checks the other trees one might have. For example he and his helper noticed we had red/black fuzzy "Wooly Bear" caterpillars at the base of our Crepe Myrtle. He removed them and cut back the undergrowth around the base that encouraged them. On a previous occasion (autumn 2020), he helped us deep fertilize a Plum tree that was sub-par. (The next spring it was thriving.). Mr. Moseley really cares for all trees and shrubs and knows a lot about them. Just call and makes an appointment to drop by; he has very flexible hours.”

“I have been purchasing equipment at Virginia Outdoor Power for over a decade now. They have great customer service and they usually have everything in stock. The only downfall is I feel like the prices are a little bit too much. I have since found other places to shop that are a lot more competitive.”

“I visited three different stores since Sunday and the customer service was nonexistent. I finally decided to try one more store and when I tell you I hit the jackpot with customer service, I'm not exaggerating. I have a hard time making decisions. I met Mark in flooring and he showed me the tile section. I needed tiles for my bathroom floor, wall, and backsplash. He walked me through the pros and cons, made recommendations, and helped me spend $1200. I was so relieved to have professional help. He was very knowledgeable about the products and professional. This man went above and beyond to assist to the very end. He loaded my car and ensured I had all the additional items I needed. I have never felt this happy about shopping ever! If you need tile, want a nice selection, and desire exceptional customer service, ask for Mark in flooring!!”

“I had to pick up a couple of new strands of Christmas lights cause good luck finding the bulb that doesn't work lol!Was happy to see they still actually had a large selection instead of being sold out like in recent years.Got two packages of lights, a new pot for my ever-growing, orchid, and a new cute little succulent. Literally, every employee I passed, said hello to me, had a big smile on the face and it was genuine and warm and welcoming. It was a really good vibe. Steven was my cashier and he was amazing! So friendly, helpful, and he also had a big warm smile on his face!”

“So so wish I could award half stars! I think this location deserves 3.5 stars.I like that the store advertises the mask mandate and provides hand sanitizer for customers. However, no one really social distances here. Unfortunately that includes employees who are walking close to you with their mask pulled down. Otherwise we had a good experience and found what we needed!”

“Tell corporate that I will change this to 5 stars once they start taking apple pay. Also watch out for your car in this parking lot the spaces are tight, and people are not that carful. Just go to the upper level.”

“We were shopping for a small poinsettia. The Home Depot in Mosaic sold out of them, but the Circle store had a good selection of different sizes, also found a white orchid with 4 flowering stems. The poinsettia was a good price at $6.99. It took 10 minutes to get in and out of the store. We should shop there more often, instead of going to Mosaic first.”

“Right off the highway on our way back to D.C. from a Richmond trip, we pulled into this Home Depot. It's exactly like all the other Home Depots with a large garden area and massive aisles of anything you need for a home project. Bathrooms are in the back, but expect some dirt inside. Customer service was helpful and friendly.”
