I ordered a gift of six martini glasses that were shipped from five different stores all over the country in five different boxes naturally each one wrap differently, some in original boxes, some in bubble wrap. It was shocking that I had ordered from Neiman Marcus because I expected much more from them. I had to pay a shipping company to re-wrap everything in one box so that I could present it as a gift. I really think that Neiman Marcus has gone downhill and there'll be a time that there won't be any more Neiman Marcus.

Just an update on the perfume I was looking for. So instead of Neiman Marcus, I went to Macy's and told them that I was looking for a perfume but didn't know what it was called. They sent me home with 8 Dior samples to test... instead of saying that they were not trying to sell !!!!!! Fast forward, three days later I went back to Macy's and got three perfumes instead of one! Because I tried them all and fell in love with three of them, including the one that I was looking for. This is called customer service. They sold three instead of one just because of their caring attitude. Neiman Marcus at Tysons corner really needs to reconsider their services and attitude.

I found a fantastic Fragrance Guru, Kristy exceeded my expectations. Felt comfortable strolling around the counters with her without any pressure. She let me have fun and listened to what I was looking for. I tried things on without being overwhelmed with too many aromas. I had a lot of fun, most importantly I left with 4 equally beautiful, unique, and complex fragrances. I will visit Neiman Marcus more often, thank you Kristy.

Horrifying experience!!!!!!!!!!!!I went to test Tom Ford's new perfume. My original sales person (Kay) was lovely. She compared scents with me, educated me on her favorites, and provided me options with similar scent profiles. Not being sure of which one I loved, she kindly gave me her business card and told me to call her if I need further assistance.I left, did a lap around the mall and deciding on the $400 Tom Ford scent. When I arrived to the store, the counter was unattended so I patiently waited to be helped. A sales associate looked at me, proceeded to NOT assist and fixed her lipstick in the mirror instead. After being ignored for several moments, I politely approached her and said, "excuse me." She aggressively responded to me with "What do you want?" In shock and confused, I asked to speak to Kay. After confirming Kay was on lunch I chose to leave, embarrassed at the encounter. Once the interaction settled in, I decided to purchase the perfume at Saks. I later returned to Nieman's to report the incident to Kay and a manager.NEVER have I been spoken to in such a manor. I was horrified! As a younger presenting woman that is also multiracial, it's hard to not feel some discrimination was involved. Disappointed!

Salesperson in the children's dept. followed me around relentlessly, asked me 15x if I needed help. Super annoying. I finally told her about herself ...paid in A different dept. and left. I will never go back there again!

I placed an order online that I was so excited about receiving. The order did arrive by FedEx however it was stolen from my yard. I called to submit a claim with NM and after an investigation on their end, I was told that the claim was denied because as far as they are concerned they did their job and the package was delivered. I was shocked this happened to me, four years ago when someone stole a package from our property around this same time from Nordstroms the response was so different, they truly made me feel that I was a valued customer! That was customer service I could not say I will shop here again. I was truly disappointed not only was I out of money but my Christmas presents as well. I am happy that I waited to place my second order.

Placed order 12/12 with quickest shipping speed. Did not receive order. Was disconnected from the telephone number for CS multiple time (they said they were having phone issues). On 12/17 called 9 times before being connected long enough to have them verify all of my information. I was told it was a problem with the first name for the delivery being two characters . I then asked when the order would ship and the lady was very rude so I requested a supervisor. Held for another 20 minutes. Supervisor acknowledged there should not have been a problem with the first name being two characters but could not also tell me when my order was going to ship. I had the order canceled because during the extended time on hold with Neiman Marcus I was able to successfully place my order with their fine department store competitor and telephone them on another line where they voluntarily, generously offered to refund my overnight shipping charges with them due to my difficulty with Neiman Marcus, provided a tracking number, and verified the order will be received by 12/20 —their customer service so close to Christmas got my attention in a much different way than Neiman Marcus. Neiman Marcus customer service has continued to decline in recent years and it is disappointing because I grew up shopping with them in Dallas. I didn’t need to pay for overnight shipping when I placed my initial order on 12/12, but did to avoid dealing with tracking items down the week of Christmas which Neiman Marcus has placed me in the uncomfortable position of doing this Christmas week as I prepare to host over a dozen guests in our second home. Do not get me started on my shoe experience last spring. Very disappointed.

Updating my review because I actually had an issue with an order placed by a NM client advisor IN-STORE, it NEVER arrived! I reached out to the client advisor, asked for a tracking information and all he texted back was "will be coming soon". It has been three weeks and I still haven't received the item. I reached out to customer service one week ago and they directed me to the fragrance department. They told me to reach out to my client advisor. I asked if they're able to check their system just to see what is the status of my order. They said no and told me to reach out to my client advisor (who has not been very responsive). I called customer service again. They directed me to delivery and shipping department, there was no answer and they told me that they will leave a message for them to call back. One week later and still no call back. This is very poor customer service and is essentially stealing/fraud. I will likely only purchase from my NM Chanel SA from this point forward and no one else. Even then, I will only purchase items I can walk out with. Do not let a CA/SA place an order for you online in-store. TLDR: Do not allow in-store online ordering through a CA/SA. There's a chance you won't receive your item even though they've charged you for it. And there is no point in going through customer service because they will leave you hanging without any answers.

terrible customer service. I went in to look for something formal and got no assistance at all. the only thing I got from shopping here was getting profiled. im assuming I didn't fit the appropriate appearance for someone to come help me. this associate named Derek followed me and my friend everywhere not asking a single question. Im Assuming he thought we were going to steal. I confronted him about the situation and his excuse was " I'm here to help." I've never experienced anything like that before. Full of lies. Didn't know they hired people like that. Immature and embarrassing.

I visited the watch and jewelry department in October 2023. The selection is a pretty good size with both new and pre owned watches. They have Piaget, Franck Muller, and Hermes watches as well as used Rolexes, omega, Breitling, and Cartier. I didn't look at the jewellery much, but the selection is also very nice with some high end pieces. I was assisted by Laila and she is very kind and helpful. I looked at a couple Rolexes and they were all in decent shape and at market prices. They even have a gold Patek that is incredible. If I decide to get a Piaget, I would get it from here. Hermes and Franck Mueller are the 2 main brands though.

Perfume section is the worst and most aggressive personnel. Recently received a magazine which includes new scents to include Mind Games. Thought it would be a great idea to go in the store and get a sample so I can wear it, to see how it worked with my day to day movement and to see if this was a good investment. Mind you I have multiple Mind Games perfume. Yep, there was an entire new collection and after smelling them one stood out Queening. The lady tried to force me to purchase the sample $545 telling me there was only 2 in stock. Why would I purchase the entire collection when I only prefer one scent? Asked if there was any sample and she clearly walked away and stood behind the counter. I walked out of there with Creed Carmina (kudos) to the salesperson who represented the brand well. As much I wanted to purchase Queening I would never put an ounce of commission in that lady pocket. Rude and condescending .

Fun to walk through but the clothing here leaves something to be desired. They do have little corners of the store that have beautiful timeless and high quality clothes but it is mostly focused on trendy street clothes. They only have big name brands and are missing many smaller couture brands.
