I haven't been to Bloomingdales in a couple of months due to travel. I went in today and immediately I felt different. The environment is more welcoming, and the associates were so nice, happy, helpful and knowledgeable. I had to stop a young lady who appeared to be the manager and ask what has changed. She shared with me that they are intentionally stepping up their service efforts. I will be sharing my experience with all of my girlfriends. I am so excited. #BloomingdalesRocks #HappyShopping

I purchased a David Yurman necklace for my daughter's college graduation. I had to buy it in advance. The order shipped early and my daughter did not care for the jewelry. I attempted to return it in the store and was told 90 day return policy and no credit would be given. No effort for caring about customer. The 90 day mark was missed by one week. If you buy a gift in advance beware !!! Never had this issue with any other large scale department store like Nordstrom. Bloomingdales has the policy of DSW shoes and H&M.

Eddie in men's was so helpful and I love how he didn't pressure us - and gave us a few options for men's pants! Thanks Eddie.

Big scam and ignorant customers service people! Here is what I received for my new order and what I was promised instead for full refund plus a free replacement that NEVER happened! Emailed and called lots of time, but no responses and nobody cared!

I like this store, but there's one main reason. Customer service is exceptional. First off they helped me get into a fitted suit, for what I'll consider to be a good value. Was it pricey? Yes although not much more than Macys or Nordstrom's. The pin stripes look sharp, and the employees knew what they were doing. That's huge when investing in a suit, especially one designed to make an impression. Also I have one expensive love. I really enjoy colognes by Killian or yes the devil himself, none other than Creed Adventus. You're probably rolling your eyes, and that's totally fine. Yet with an app and coupons, I've walked out with them expensive, but cheaper than one would expect. Shopping smart is a good thing. Most of their clothes are ridiculous, and household items aren't my things. Yet these are why I like Bloomingdale's, and also occasionally a sharp tie.

I bought a formal dress at Bloomingdale's (Tysons Corner, VA) in June. I brought it back today for alterations. While it only took about 10 minutes to get the alternations marked, I waited over 30 minutes to get a salesperson to enter the alterations in the system. Once the salesperson was available to help me, she couldn't find the dress in the system (even though the tag was on the dress and I had my receipt). It took two more people to find someone to be able to charge me $74.00 to hem a dress that cost $189.00. Ridiculous. There were no other alternations except to hem it. I will never return to Bloomingdale's (except to pick up this dress hopefully) and I joyfully shred my Bloomingdale's credit card and Loyalist card. At a place like Bloomingdale's and with its prices, you expect some kind of customer service. At least 3 other people behind me left the counter (and hopefully didn't buy anything) while we all waited and waited for someone, anyone, to help us. I did feel sorry for the one salesperson there trying to take care of a line of customers when there were no other salespersons around. You need to do a better job, Bloomingdale's. You definitely lost one long-time customer today, and hopefully more.

The customer service is HORRIBLE here. I got a pair of Kate Spade flats as a gift but did not have the receipt. When I returned them to the store they told me that because I didn't have the receipt, they would need to send me a store credit via snail mail. I agreed, as I knew my situation was unfortunate, and they took the shoes from me and gave me a receipt showing I'm supposed to get a $210 store credit. THAT WAS 3 MONTHS AGO. I have called the inquiry line on the receipt multiple times over the months and they keep telling me it will be mailed out in a few days and I have yet to receive. Tonight I called and asked for a supervisor and was told no because it won't make a difference. This is garbage, I could have kept the shoes and sold them online and gotten SOMETHING for them, but now I have no shoes and no money. NOT HAPPY

At first my experience here wasn't the best walking into the door. I felt EYES on me but it got better. I went in to exchange a gift that my husband bought me and the first sales rep wasn't the best help. I stood around for about 5 minutes after she finished helping someone and she still didn't say anything to me. So I in turn asked did she have the belt I was looking for in a different color and she said she would go check. It was if she didn't want to help me and thought I was just looking (still should speak to customers regardless). While she was checking another rep Anya came and asked did I need assistance while she was helping another customer. She in turn ended up helping me with the belt exchange that I needed all the way to getting it measured because it was a men's MCM belt. She gave me her card and I am ready to buy some new stuff from her to make sure she gets that sale!! LOL All in all, she was a great multitasker and helped me the entire way all while helping others

I placed an online order and went for pick up at the store located in Tyson Corner. The order had arrived on July 13, 2020. I wen in the store on July 17, 2020. The associate said that there is no order received that has my name. I tried finding the email that I had received, but being under the pressure that the store has closed and I had to get out, couldn't find it. The next day (Saturday, July 18) I receive an email reminder to pick up the order. I am extremely unhappy for the very poor customer service this store is providing to customers. I think that there are many online stores, much better than Bloomingdale that ship your order home. I don't consider ordering from Bloomingdale anymore.

They have a lot of stores and items to peruse. The staff is friendly and helpful. It can get very crowded here.

Love the Bloom display at Bloomingdale's at Tysons. For a moment, I was transported back in time to the pre-covid era of beauty & fashion & the luxurious experience of strolling through Bloomingdale's. Thanks Bloomies for keeping the beauty alive, it brings with it hope. -Nikki from Winchester, VA

One of my favorite places to shop :) they have all the major brands which is AMAZING!!! Went here for my pre-wedding shop and did a lot of my shopping in 1 day. The staff are very nice and friendly. Their bag and shoe section is my favorite. They have brands like Chanel, Dior, Christian Louboutin, Valentino, van cleef and more.

Beautiful place to shop. I recently purchased something here, and it was all very smooth and kosher. There are a lot of stores and boutiques, and the staff are pretty helpful most of the time, but not "in your face" helpful; they give you space. As far as high end department stores go, this is one of best

I love shopping here because of the brands that they carry. However, their customer service could be improved. It took forever for me to get help in the Salvatore Ferragamo, Chloé, and Burberry section. One sales associate acknowledged me a few times but never came by. Another by Michael Kors seemed to be avoiding customers like he didn't want to work that day. A couple of Burberry scarves had snags in it, and when I asked them how the prices would be affected, they responded that they would still cost full price. Luckily, they had extras in their cabinets. Some of their Chloé and Ferragamo bags had scratches on them due to them being out on display for all to see. I recommend thoroughly inspecting your items before purchasing them if you're going to be spending all that money. They had a poor selection of bags for Ferragamo, Stella McCartney, and bao bao and a decent selection for Burberry and Michael Kors. There were more Chloé bags than there were Ferragamo bags. I like Louis Vuitton's customer service and selection of bags the most. They're usually nice and professional, and they have their own little store like Gucci does. Just a heads up for Louis Vuitton repairs.. they cannot take any luxury goods for repair until their California stores reopen after the COVID-19 lockdown. Once they take in your stuff for repairs, it will take 14 weeks to get back.
