“Great bread and decent prices. The store is clean and has an always changing selection of inexpensive non-grocery store items - clothing, toys, tools etc.The only real downside is that the checkout lines are often long - but the bakery items generally make up for that.”

“I have been shopping at Balducci’s for over 30 years, one of the best food in McLean. Everything was great! But today I came at 7.15pm after work and saw that the salad bar was closed. The lady at the department said that the salad bar closes at 7pm! It was a surprise to me, that is the time when many shoppers come home from work and buy dinner from the salad bar. And the sandwich and bakery departments are closed too. Why does everything close at 7pm? It is very inconvenient!”

“The staff at this pharmacy go above and beyond for the people they serve. Even though I have moved to a community farther away, I continue to rely on this pharmacy because of the service I receive here.”

“I like the produce area here. There is plenty of space for all their fresh fruits and vegetables. It feels like they have everything. The sushi bar is slightly lacking, but they are often making fresh sushi when I visit. I also like that there is a Starbucks inside.”

“I almost gave this place five stars until I remembered their chicken needs more seasoning. LOL. I like to visit their hot bar when it looks good which is usually when they put it out. This is my local Harris Teeter so I visit it frequently. It's a nice spot to grab quick things but not do full grocery shopping if you know what I mean. It's just too expensive. The customer service is okay. I've never had an issue personally but I could see how someone could take issue with one their day supervisors. The two times I've encountered this particular one she did give a vibe of an attitude. Everyone else seems so helpful.”

“Staff is very friendly!!. Store is clean and well-managed. Yes, the prices at checkout are often higher than they are on the shelves. I’ve been cheated several times. But what can you do?”

“Great neighborhood grocery story that underpins the growing neighborhood. Very nice workers, pretty clean. Needs some updating, especially the exterior and surrounding area as there's rapid modernization of this neighborhood with new homes and a wegmans across 123.”

“Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I've used this Harris Teeter location twice with a prescription that has been challenging to refill. The pharmacist(s) that I've spoken to have been very friendly and helpful. They have also answered the phone within 6 rings when I call. There could be issues with staffing, but that's a Corporate decision. Every interaction I've had from refilling, transferring a prescription out and/or back has been very smooth. To those that complained, I'd suggest giving this location another shot. I've had nothing but excellent service here.”
