The staff at this pharmacy go above and beyond for the people they serve. Even though I have moved to a community farther away, I continue to rely on this pharmacy because of the service I receive here.

Overcharged at the pharmacy, they didn’t look up the right insurance information and they were in such a hurry to close… I won’t be going back to this pharmacy

Zero Stars.Rx called in yesterday. Came today, they did not fill it yet. Said come back in an hour.Just fill the RX that is called in. What is the problem.Horrible.Go somewhere else.

I used to work at the Starbucks I was always helping guests one time I had to walk to work at giant food would not let me off so I walk to work and on the slipon black ice and they had me there after closing time

Giant Pharmacy was prompt and the staff was very helpful and courteous. I was with my former pharmacy for years. Their services were slowly becoming unreliable.Thank you Giant for making the transition easy.

I am very pleased with the attention to clients that McLean, VA location provided especially when my family is at the cashier line, we always get the utmost attention needed to complete the purchase transaction. Thank you for making me feel like a valued customer

Alethea, the short African American female at customer service is rude, abusive and loud.on May 4th, around 7 am, I went to Giant Store in McLean, VA to get a few items. I live close to the store and go there almost every day. At the self checkout I set my basket down for a second to get my Giant card out. Automated register voice started saying "put your items in the bagging area".That morning, they were short staffed and Alethea from customer service was at the self checkout area. As soon the recorded voice at the register came on, this angry African American woman started coming at me like a tiger! She was screaming at the top of her lungs and saying, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING".Alethea, continued her verbal abuse by shouting at me and saying, LET ME TEACH YOU HOW THIS IS DONE! Her verbal abuse went on for a few minutes, she was trying her best to embarrass me in front of other customers and she made an ugly scene.I'm a 66 year old male, Mediterranean, been a tax payer in Northern Virginia for 50 years and finished my college education here back in 70s. This woman kisses up to white customers, but if you got an ethnic background she would treat you differently.

Horrible customer service. Charged a surprise fee $2.99 in addition to $32 for my 2 year olds medication because they didn't want to take the time to mix the flavor that was requested by the doctor. Rude and dismissive. Taking advantage of parents with sick kids. The end result is that they didn't even bother to mix the proper flavor - they just added grape flavor to the strawberry. OF COURSE my son won't take it now. Giant Pharmacy is horrible.

The regular chain pharmacies have all gone downhill. Giant pharmacy actually answers their phone, fills scripts quickly, and makes sure all of your questions are answered. The manager, Steve, is great. I won't go anywhere else in McLean anymore.

I had to write a thesis to get a silly flu shot. Took an hour for them to enter into the system. Gave up and went home. Typical Giant.

Very long lines, and you need to be in the line twice. On the 1st run, they gave me a number. When the number shows up on the screen, I have to wait in the line again. Horrible UX.

8/15/22 After reading and seeing a review on Johnson &Johnson, I find myself in the aisle way of baby products looking at, Johnson and Johnson products. I found this store to have Watermelon Ice drinks I got my wife hooked on. The Giant Foods I go to by my house always seems to be out of stock by the time I/We arrive to buy them. Today is not the case. This store is well stocked, and organized. I did see some people that had me thinking they were school teachers doing shopping for their classes. I found some drinks by Santa Cruz. I will do a report on them once I sample the drinks. Although the place is staffed, the staff member did not ask the customers if they needed any help. I did not hear any greetings either. This isn't to big of a deal, because when I needed help, my question was answered., the woman I ask wasn't hostile, but she didn't smile either. Something was going on in her world. Nevertheless, I found what I needed and I am sure at some point, I might be back for another tour.

without exaggeration the worst water melon in my 75 yrs/ Two inches of white on shell eg not red and the red part harder than any fruit i had eaten, not sweet and i suspect any sweetness and the red may have been via some nuking. here i am working on yard, sweating, cannot wait for wife to return with the water melon to refresh myself, and she came home with this crap. third water melon of the year, one bad, but edible, second one above average and this crap went straight to trash. called manager, and although he offered refund by going to customer service, will not have my wife waste 30 min for 6 dol in this covid environment on top of that. will contact hq, since it appears two things need to happen. a) fire produce dept staff responsible for this, and b) the farmer. NO SHAME OR COMPLETE STUPIDITY TO SELL GARBAGE.

Have to agree with previous reviews in that it's convenient but pricey. Regarding all the comments about the unfriendly staff, I think some of that is a misunderstanding related to many of the workers having not yet acclimated to artificially friendly American customer service norms. Of course, many others are actually just unfriendly and probably resentful from having to deal every day with so many entitled and self-important McLean locals. The staff at the new Liedl are actually much nicer - but give them time.

I've been coming to this pharmacy for several months already, and I've always had a positive experience with the staff and overall service. I like this pharmacy somewhat better than some of the other locations in the area, simply because they are convenient, open late, and they have their act together. Whoever is behind the counter is always there and ready to assist customers p, whether it's locating an over-the-counter product, or if some has questions about their medication. I've witnessed them help other people! I also like the fact that I'm able to get some shopping done at the same time, and that always helps. Today I came by because I needed to refill a monthly prescription. It was quick and easy, and my medication was already prepared and waiting for me. I think for a time they were providing free fly shots for customers who could use their insurance. Perhaps I will come in for the annual flu shot once the weather starts to get a little cooler.
