I have read the reviews and I am shocked. The salesperson my cousin and I received was a college student that was working on her masters and was awesome. Maybe due to my mom being an educator and got her masters as well that we took to her. Nevertheless, she was very attentive to guving us information. We ended up ordering a beautiful statue for our homes after our girls weekend in Northern Virginia The Weaverbird. We live in different states. Absolutely love my purchase.

I'm not surprised to see only 2-Star on the reviews. Still, we would like to share our shopping experience at CB2, which will be our last one.
We ordered a wall candle holder and a set of taper. The charcoal candles we had ordered arrived brown! and yes, we did pay for shipping! The candle holder also was not well-designed (the hook in the back was too big, looking ugly from the side) and there was no photo and description of the side look or the hook of the item to let customers know about this design flaw. We decided to return both items with disappointment.
For the return - although it was their fault to send brown candles instead of charcoal- their website has no "reason option" for return and customers are being charged again for shipping and returning the item!!! A retail store not being able to provide free return shipping for purchases at least over $50 compares very poorly with its peers.
It so happened we had to make a trip to Tyson, so it was a good time to return the items directly to the store. We came home after the return and saw on the return receipt that the CB2 staff scanned and refunded only one of the items !!
We are speechless to convey our disappointment and dissatisfaction for a purchase at CB2 that should have been simple from the get go.

Horrible customer service. Note this review is for this actual store, not the company. I love the designs and items at CB2, and the online/call-in customer service has always been great. But the service at this store is terrible. One employee once lost all of the value on my gift card (~$250) while trying to return some small value to it. I ended up having to call into customer service to get it fixed, despite the Tysons manager assuring me he’d solve it. He did not. Thank goodness for the HQ customer service you can call. They were so much nicer and more competent.
I’ve also ordered things for pickup here and they don’t respond to it for ages, despite the fact that I can see that the item is in stock at the store. When I called about it, I was told it was a different process and to just cancel the order and buy it anew in the store. Very annoying.
In general, I love CB2 and I’ve never had any issues with buying online/delivery. Crate and barrel is similarly fantastic online and in store. But for some reason, the Tysons CB2 store just doesn’t have it together and is completely different from the rest of the CB2 company. I really think they need to change the staff here.
I really wish there were other DC area CB2 stores (I think there was a Georgetown location…that would have been great). It’s annoying I keep having to drive to this one to do all my wedding registries errands.

This review is for the customer service and employees and not the store itself. Every time I place an order it is for curbside pick up, I usually go into my email and select on the way. every time I select I’ve arrived there has never been one time where an employee brings my Order to the car as promised . I always have to go inside the store and as I went in there today, several employees were chatting away. No one was paying attention to incoming orders. One sales associate says they are not notified of any curbside pick up orders, if that is the case, what is the point of having curbside pick up as an option?

The SERVICE HERE IS TERRIBLE. I purchased a 58K Tesla in 8 minutes with all electronic paperwork signed, but purchasing two plates here took 17 minutes. Arrogant cocky staff, not so good for an overpriced furniture store. Never returning to this location again!

CB2 has good design but the SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. Ordered a bed and CB2 botched delivery four separate times over the course of five weeks. They wasted so much of my time. CB2’s delivery company would never give enough notice for me to reserve the freight elevator in my apartment building. And CB2 is incapable of directing its delivery company to serve customers. Incompetence all around. Unbelievable. Never doing business with CB2 again.

Elizabeth in Tyson’s provided guidance in a friendly way that will keep us coming back. We were not expecting that level of care, service, or knowledge within our first five minutes in the store after agonizing over whether we wanted table, counter, or bar level surfaces and the style of chairs for our selection. Amazing! Strongly recommend.

I was working in the area last week and visited this location. I recently purchased a sofa online that is on backorder. I went in to shop for dining and accent chairs. The customer service at this location was not good. There were approximately 5 associates working. One person said hello and that was it. No can I help you. There was one couple being assisted. If I could I would give this location 0 stars. This is the second time I have been in a CB2 location. The Philly store was my first. The customer service as well as the associates were anazing. This was a disappointment. I will order my chairs online.
