Unbelievably positive experience thanks to Howard in Women’s Ready to Wear. He spearheaded the effort to find my wife a dress to wear to an upcoming wedding. His sage advice was key to finding something beautiful. He then personally went downstairs to the shoe department to help select appropriate shoes. With the help of Key and then Tall, another wonderful retail experience. All these gentlemen worked together as a team and gave my wife and I a memorable shopping experience. Kudos to Bloomingdale’s for having such great staff.

This review is related trying to talk to someone at the store directly. I had a question about an item I purchased there in person. Their phone system is the pits. There is no general operator. You have to select a department. And guess what? The “departments” don’t answer the phone. I tried a dozen departments for 15 minutes during regular hours and NO ONE answered the phone. That is poor customer service. Not the experience you expect from a luxury retailer. When you try to select zero for the operator, you’re told that it’s not a choice our system recognizes. They do have a good selection, but don’t expect an all around luxury shopping experience because you will be disappointed.

Purchased and ordered two chairs from furniture dept. Was told two months for delivery. We are now at 6 months ! When asked for status, was told their vendors are not responding. Really ? Our sales person was Gail. Expect such a response from lower tier stores, but here is the sad reality. Asking for a refund and still no reply.Update: Sales said call customer service to get refund on deposit. Customer service says only sales can provide a deposit refund. Sales changes order status to a non special order to get deposit refund.Make sure you get a delivery date in writing with deposit refund guarantee if they can’t fulfill the order.

Very clean and well designed store. They also have very patient and knowledgeable employees such as Nahid Ellini. She is an expert in colognes and gave me very good recommendations on what to buy for my son. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who is looking to go to shopping, especially for fragrances.

Salima was incredibly helpful with sampling and choosing out a nice girly perfume for date night!She knew what I liked and was able to suggest similar scents that brought out the women inside of me. Very grateful for her help and can't say enough how well she took care of me!

I love the store. Selection top class. Service display parking however! Extremely disappointed Bloomingdales no longer offers VAT back. Program to europeans..shameful!!
