I enjoy Balducci's because they have a nice variety of wines you can not easily get at big box stores. If you need that special ingredient for a dish, they usually have it. You can grab a snack and a drink and sit in their Cafe or outdoors on the patio. And mostly I appreciate the pleasant staff who are always willing to help and not make you feel rushed.While the prices are more expensive than other grocery stores this is a specialty market and for that prepare to spend a little extra. If looking for a weekly grocer, this may not be it. But if looking to cater a party, find a special bottle of wine or get that hard to find ingredient, this is a place to check out.

Very expensive prices for otherwise average groceries. Going to Lidl or Whole Foods is a much better option.Lots of prepared food, but everything is meh.

It was nice, almost too nice. I felt outta place. Was just looking for a quick lunch... Strolled the whole store. High-end customers and products... Like a mini version of Wegmans

Fantastic place to shop for perfection. Perfection has a cost so the prices are higher but if you want something that is perfect this is where real culinary and foodees shop. There are specialty shops that have better meats and ethnic foodstuffs but you’ll also pay more than here. Need something special or unusual for holidays, you find it here. DCinDC

I live in Washington state, and every time I visit my sister here I stop at Balducci's for some goodies to bring back with me.Maybe the locals are blase about this place, but it's a gem. You find really good stuff here that you don't find almost anywhere else.

How much produce do you guys waste? SMH REDONKULOUSLY overpriced! I'm seeing a 100-300% markup over other stores, even over the organic commonality. Then, to add to it, much of it was going bad. HMMMmmm I wonder why?Sliced watermellon foam pack, that would MAX be about $5-7 elsewhere.... $12!!!!!!Mushrooms, double the price elsewhereApples... 1-1.25 per lb more...the list goes on.Sickening. Shameful. We have starving people and I bet youre throwing out more produce than your counterparts because you cant sell as much.

A great grocery store! Larger and better variety than the other Balduccis. Their French macarons (delivered from NY) are the best in town. Take away bistro meals I've had have all been fresh and delicious. Small but good florist.

Funand Clean supermarket, lots of options. Expensive, but you choose what you pay for and eat. Love the desserts and roasted pecans. People work hard in this store and they answer questions. Nice catering too.

Balducci's for me was, is and will be the Land of extravaganza, excitement and exotic sandwiches beyond my wildest dreams.Yes I am not hallucinating just try their sandwiches you will be a true believer too.The super kind ladies make you a delicious sandwich with such a sweet smile and price 7.99 and up God bless them, enjoy it, thanks McLean Virginia Balducci'$ for great service with a friendly smile... ? ?

The made-to-order sandwiches are rockstar amazing. And may be the only reason why I go to Balduccis. Well, perhaps the cheese counter is another reason.

Loved looking through the prepared foods and bakery part of the store. They carry a variety of choices for grocery items from staple brands to gourmet small batch things. I can't wait to try handmade pearled couscous I found at the store!

The pizza made out of their Italian brick oven is fabulous for a grocery store. Although fairly small, their cheese and fresh food selection is worth the drive.

Most amazing grocery store. They have unusual fruit and vegetables (white asparagus, pink lemons, lady apples, butterscotch pears) meats that are impossible to find (venison, rabbit, mallard duck breast, boar) quality cheese's, assortment of wines. High quality food at reasonable prices.
