As much as i love Aveda products, never had good experience with the elderly lady at tysons store. She was and is extremely rude for every single visit, she never listens. Me and my wife literally pray that she won’t be there if we are visiting but unfortunately she is most of the time. I do not recall her name but i will update the review if i found out her name. This type of customer service is never expected from AVEDA. I never write a negative review because i myself have a business and i know what it means to have bad review in contrast sometimes the concerns of customers needs to be addressed too!

This store is a really nice experience. They have testers of everything including hair products, so I recommend going in with your hair wet or unstyled and using the products, and going about your day before committing because they are a little pricey, unless they have trial size. You can make returns but it’s wasteful.

I am a new Aveda customer and have only frequented the Pentagon location. I have been so impressed by the customer service at Pentagon that I assumed all Aveda locations practiced the same top notch customer service but boy, was I wrong.
I stopped by the Tysons location this past weekend ( for the very first time) to return two products that unfortunately, did not work for my hair. I spoke with THE STORE MANAGER, LISA and told her my concerns and asked if I could please return the items. Rather than help me find an alternative solution, she spoke and questioned me harshly. Asking things like “What was I expecting these products would do for me?” and stating “The Nutriplenish leave in is not for your hair type.”
Lisa then proceeded to tell me that she could not honor the return because I did not bring back the “free gift” so she put the receipt back into my bag and pushed my bag back towards me. Overall, Lisa’s communication and body language was completely unprofessional, abrasive, and inappropriate. I am still in shock by this encounter and very surprised that Aveda has someone like her representing their company - let alone hold a leadership position.

went in to ask about the scalp camera, after first asking if the worker was familiar with the nearest threading salon, but was spoken to in the rudest and coldest manner. very off putting and unprofessional.

Well stocked complete Aveda store. Conveniently located at Tysons Corner lower level near Nordstrom’s. They offer all Aveda products as well as expert advice, free scalp imaging to help recommend the best product for your hair and more. Very friendly and helpful staff. Don’t forget your free cup of Avedas delicious herbal tea!

I love this store so much especially this sales associate called Marc. I have a very special hair texture that needs specific products to keep it tamed and well-groomed. Marc always helps me find the right products for my hair and he has never disappointed me. Also, he always introduces me with the new products that he believes would be helpful for my hair. I definitely would like this store!

Over the last year Marc has gone above and beyond to make sure I am able to get all of my products. I am so appreciative and thankful for his help during this challenging year and not being able to shop in person. It is so refreshing to hear a pleasant and cheerful voice. He is so knowledgeable with all the products and everything he has recommended has worked so well.

Today, I went to this store to return a hair product. It was an exchange from another product, and I ended up returning it all together. Mark was the sales associate I dealt with, and he was disrespectful. He yelled and argued with me (in front of other customers) when I told him my refund was incorrect. I paid $37.00 plus tax, and he was only going to refund me $2.11. WTF? I asked him where is the rest of my money. He said you exchanged the product. I said I don't have anything to keep. I'm giving you this product back, so you owe me more money. He went bat s*** crazy on me by arguing with me. I walked out and told him, I'm not having this conversation with you anymore. I called corporate and filed a complaint. Corporate said they would send me a full refund check, and they will investigate the situation. I will not be dealing with this fool again. SMH.
