WE LOVE YOU! Tho Mia was not adopted, I went to their Fun Fur Fest, in September, and we had a BLAST! Mia came out as a STAR! She won 2 medals, which she PROUDLY wore for days ahead. This place is Super Clean and they appreciate Everything I give them....from a few bux to a HUGE gate and LOTS of Mia's clothes that don't fit her well. They also accept open bags of treats and food here and Mia is an Exceptionally picky Peke! And spoiled as well. I GLADLY give them Mia's treats and etc. This place is the ABSOLUTE BEST SPCA I've ever seen!

We got our dog from here. He’s the best dog ever. Very good temperament, great with my kids, young kids, other peoples kids. Great with other dogs. He’s quiet, he doesn’t bark for no reason. He likes to go to the park & watch deer at home. His name was Ace when we adopted him, but we named him Dutch E. Doo.

I have had a very disappointing experience with this shelter regarding the adoption of my dog. Initially, I was given inconsistent and incorrect information about the dog’s health and vaccination status. When I picked her up, I was surprised to learn that she was on antibiotics for a UTI and sedatives for separation anxiety—despite being assured over the phone by the shelter that there were no problems with the dog. Additionally, I was frustrated to discover that a pre-scheduled spay procedure was not completed due to a medication shortage, which I was only informed of at the last minute when I arrived to pick up the dog after hours of driving.
Given the situation, the shelter should have kept the dog with them for the additional three days needed to complete the spay procedure instead of placing this burden on me without proper notice.
Most recently, I have been deeply concerned by the shelter’s handling of the adoption process. Despite asking twice at the front desk about finalizing the adoption paperwork for the dog, I was told there was nothing further I needed to do. No adoption agreement or paperwork was presented to me at the time. It was only after PetSmart insisted on seeing the adoption paper that I checked Shelterluv and discovered that an adoption agreement had been signed on my behalf without my knowledge or consent.
This unauthorized signing of the adoption agreement is not only unprofessional but also violates the terms of the foster-to-adopt agreement I initially signed, which clearly stated that I would need to finalize the adoption paperwork myself after the spay/neuter surgery.
I understand that this shelter is a non-profit organization, but that does not excuse creating frustration for adopters by providing inconsistent information or signing agreements on their behalf without consent. Transparency and proper communication are essential, especially when it involves the well-being of an animal and the legal responsibilities of adoption.
I hope the shelter takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary changes to ensure that future adopters are provided with accurate information and are properly involved in the adoption process.

Clean, very friendly brought my Pop in who has Alzihmers he had a blast. I brought ear protection for him. Glad I did!

Found two cats in a camper that was destroyed by some people who left it behind with the cats inside. We took them to SPCA, and wow, they were beyond helpful and even gave the cats a check-up to be sure they were healthy. They could not take them but verified they were healthy, just needed tlc and food I will go here again

We've had an appointment for a month to surrender a lab, we've been put off 3 separate times from our original scheduled date and now have been told to call animal control because they're full. Why make an appointment in advance? Where's the professionalism?
