I know it's weird to give a gas station 5 stars but it's hard to find a small convenient store with a decent grill like the ones I grew up on. They have all closed or at least shut down the grill.Growing up in Martinsville there were other options and I never had to go to Ridgeway for this but now that I live in NC, I stop here nearly every time I go back home. They have hotdogs (the old style with Jesse Jones type red weenies), burgers, salads and much more not to mention all the sides like fries, onion rings, and hush puppies. I've never had anything here I didn't like. Plenty of beverages to choose from but I prefer the Pepsi fountain unit.There is also a sitting area incase you decide to eat there and not in your car. The staff is always nice and accommodating. Growing up I remember getting three dogs for $.99. That's no longer the case but I still love those dogs! Stop in and give them a try the next time you're driving down 220 in Ridgeway.

For a gas station... they have some good food! I love the convenience of being able to stop for gas and get some food. The Philly cheesesteak wrap with ranch is a 10/10. They also have some really good cheese cake.

People's always has magnificent food. I've never had a bad meal? The grilled chicken salad is to die for. The people are friendly and the service is efficient.

For a little hole in the wall inside of a gas station, this place was shockingly delicious! We sat in the "VIP" booth decked out with local racing memorabilia. I had a bologna, egg and cheese sandwich with LTM and crinkle fries, and my meal was ON POINT! The service was great too! This little gem will definitely be my new go-to quick lunch spot! 5 stars for you, People's (Bill's)!
