Hate this store, no one smiles, they act like they are better than anyone, now they refuse to carry anything patriotic, this place can disappear for all I care. They need to wear less fake eyelashes and and wear a real smile

if I could give no stars I would. Kroger pharmacy is a joke. They have your prescriptions for days and still do not have it filled, they seem not to care either, stop being lazy and do your job. Walmart can run on three people and still hav done on time..

Overall the store was ok, finding things in it is as easy as most stores, and the check-out people in the front seemed on par with other stores. My biggest complaint is with the pharmacy. 9/10ths of the time they only have one register open (ok to be fair I can only say what I see), and people are being told to come back multiple times and told different amounts of time remaining with each return. There was one person who was told on his 3rd return it would be the next day on a pill that was vital he have that night. I had to wait almost a week for one recently, glad I called in early for it. They seem to have a lot of new hires that must have just got their certifications and don't realize not all scripts can be held for a week. Share review

I'm from the Richmond area. I've shopped Kroger for years, and I've always been very pleased with Kroger until I moved to Martinsville. They never get the customer pick up right. Today, they sent me a text message telling me they did not have the yogurt that I ordered. When I went to pick up my order, first I went in the store and sure enough, they had the yogurt that I wanted. Also they used twice as many bags as you actually need. They sent me home with 10 bags when everything would have easily fit into five bags. They often put one item in these huge bags. The only reason that I continue to shop this Kroger is because they are the only store in the area that has the organic products that I order. Walmart and Food Lion tend to have a very limited selection of organic products, and what they do have, tends to be grossly over priced. So I really don't have any choice but to shop Kroger and put up with their terrible service. The Kroger in Martinsville VA is an embarrassing example of Kroger in general. I did complain to the store management once, but he really just didn't seem to care.

I am regularly Kroger customer and I am a black woman. The service I received last night was very upsetting. I was at one of the self check out registers and I had a coupon. The register tells me an attendant is on the way. There was only two people at self check out. There was a young white gentlemen position slightly behind me on the opposite side. His register also stated that an attendant is on the way. The store clerk comes around the corner and mumbles that she doesn't know who was first as she proceeds to bypass me and go to his register. With all that's going on in the world, it still amazes me when people let their true color show, so to speak. If you cannot control that type of behavior, you really shouldn't have a position in customer service. She never inquired as to who was first. I may have felt better about it if she had. Maybe. But the fact that she didn't after acknowledging that she didn't know, and immediately went to service the gentleman BEHIND me really left me feeling some type of way. Oh, I made that know. I do enjoy shopping at Kroger. Great selection of produce and fresh foods. Their pharmacy staff is great. But this incident really left a bad taste in my mouth.
