Bought 2 of their sofa's at Bacon Furniture. The sofa's were electric recline and on both spots where my husband and I sit the foot rest fell apart (so to speak) the cheap material that they used for backing ripped away from the frame and caused the foot rests to look deformed. Would not suggest buying their products! Customer service passed me off on another dealer.

Peeling tops that look disgusting on both tables. I have bought Hooker my entire life ! Poorest quality now, purchased at exclusive Coco Island. I would never buy again. Retired and furnished my cottage with these !

Horrible people to deal with. First, I pay for furniture. Told I can get it that day. Luckily I went home and waited because hours later they called to push it out a few days. Ok. Few days past and I get another call they’re going to wait a whole week now. Finally show up and these people are no help. Barely help load anything. Wont help with extra rope I needed to tie down. Basically here you bought this now figure it out because we’ve already got your money.

Dining table top finish started peeling off after 4 years. They advertised it as durable. We rarely used it. Table selling for about $2,000 now.

Several years ago I bought an James River Leather Chair from Hooker Furniture. I had to replace the seat cushion last year. Then the gas lift this year. Both times customer service helped me quickly and got me the items I needed to continue to keep my chair looking good. I appreciate how quickly they responded and sent out the parts quickly. I will continue to be a purchaser of Hooker Furniture and refer them to friends. Thank you.

My wife and I have had a bad experience with Hooker Furniture. We purchased 2 recliners from them and received them in February 2020. A few months into having these recliners, the color on the arms of BOTH recliners began to fade. The color is fading in other areas of the recliners but its most noticeable on the arms.We called Grindstaff and they attempted to assist us in getting replacements since i felt that the color should not be fading or bleeding when we have not even had the product 5 months. Grindstaff's efforts resulted in a local person being contacted who quoted a price on re-staining the recliners. The quoted priced was based on pictures that my wife had taken and sent to show where the fading was. The person who was going to re-stain the recliners was not sent all of the pictures so he did not see the fading of the arms of each recliner. The price he quoted which Hooker said they would pay for did not included the arms because he did not have all of the pictures. Needless to say my wife and i spent a lot of money on these recliners and have had extremely poor service/support. I would not recommend Hooker Furniture to anyone considering getting furniture for their homes.

I purchased a Hooker recliner and spent over $1000. I purchased a Guardsman Protection Plan for it that the salesman told me I really needed. After a few months the color of leather completely wore off where the chair reclines. So I went to Guardsman first, no luck, they said that is not covered. Then contacted Furniture Land South where I bought the chair, they referred it to Hooker, who told me that was natural wear. I am not sure I agree after such a short time of owning the chair. I am not sure why they give you an answer like that and think that is ok. $1000 is a lot to spend on a recliner. Only my husband uses it and not that much, so where did quality go? Why do they think its just ok to brush you off and say just natural wear..... So never again. No Hooker, No Furniture Land South, and no Guardsman Protection Plan.

Purchased a Hooker ESME recliner for over $1,000 as a mate to another Hooker recliner I purchased three years earlier. My old Hooker recliner is very comfortable and generally a great chair. Unfortunately the Esma recliner is junk. The leather feels like plastic, the trim looks cheep and overall the chair is stiff and uncomfortable. It's unfortunate that the Hooker name has come to represent such "Made in China" rubbish.

I recently bought a bedroom set from this company. They are amongst the high end furniture price wise and I wanted to buy something that really dazzled guests when I gave the house tour of my new home. I can say that their furniture is beautiful... The delivery guys were pretty solid and they put everything together quickly. As I got to know my new bed frame over a couple of nights I realized that it wasn't built out of solid would. It was more of an IKEA style pressure board. Also the supports for under our king size memory foam mattress were held in place by a single flimsy screw drilled into the middle of the beam that then screws into the bottom of the bed support. There is nothing to keep the support beams from falling out of place and leaving your mattress slumping in the middle. This happened over and over again despite us trying to tighten the screw tighter and put the beams back in place. I have had better luck with a much cheaper ikea or knock off bed frame. This frame is beautiful but I won't be buying any more hooker furniture. I suppose the name says it all, beautiful on the outside, yet deceiving and empty feeling after you spend the money. I hope that the hooker family can learn how to support a bed and stop cutting corners. Losing 1-10% margin is certainly worth building a quality product at the prices they are charging.

High quality furniture. I really enjoy the bedroom suite I bought from them, it's beautiful, durable, and relatively pain free to assemble.
