They were very helpful. Just in case people don't know, they give out food AND toiletries. Like soap, dish liquid, toilet paper, tooth paste & tooth brushes, deodorant. I can't remember if they still give out soap & shampoo, I think they use to. These items may not be name brand stuff but when you trying to survive it helps in a big way. The food they give out is better than every food bank in this area. You can actually eat it. That alone says a lot about how awful the other local food banks are.

Grace Network has one of the best food pantries in Henry County, Virginia. Make sure to be there as early ad possible as they see a limited number of clients each day. Also, check their website or call to get what you need to bring with you. The process is long, but as far as I know, it is one of a very few places to get financial and food assistance in one place.

How do you deny a family or anyone free food that is donated to you guys my family is without food and we have to go without food throughout this weekend how is that possible people are starving and they’re refusing to give away food that’s donated to them. That’s horrible service.
