Sometimes I find treasure, sometimes I walk away empty handed. I like the goodwills business model and this is a nice store.

This is a pretty good store. It is the only one in the area now, so this is all you have for "discount" clothing. It has saved me in some dressing emergencies before. They run some fairly good deals throughout the week such as today, being 50% on orange tags. The problem is, most of the stuff you would want isn't on sale and the stuff that is on sale looks trashy or has holes. Otherwise, this is a clean store, well laid out and some friendly staff.
Recommended.

I LOVE donating to you. There are carts READILY available to put my donations on, and help as well. They ALWAYS ask if I want a receipt. Your help is a VERY valuable asset to me when I have a Big load in my car to give you. This makes me want to DONATE my stuff to you.

Goodwill is too expensive and they got rid of their dressing rooms so now you can’t even try anything on before you buy it. They tell you that you have to purchase the clothes before you can go into there bathrooms to try them on and then if they don’t fit you can exchange them for other clothes or items that are the same price.
It’s ridiculous that they charge so much and then ask if you wanna round up when you get to there register. Everything in Goodwill is given to them and they wanna get money for it. I don’t roundup when I purchase something here bc it already cost so much and you can’t return it to get your money back plus where everything was given to them for free.
Goodwill does not help anyone but themselves. It’s just like any other store you would go to shop at. This place should be a place where anyone can get stuff for free who is in need of it instead of putting prices on these hammy down items.

It's a good place to look for nice clothing cheap. You can find hidden jewels in these stores. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

The guy pictured yelled at the top of his lungs at us in the store for entering a portion of goodwill that we didn’t know we were not supposed to go into. No sign posted . Dude acted in a threatening manner. As a customer of goodwill and donated many items to the organization. Round up person- here . I’m saying nope to the martinsville goodwill as being a kind and welcoming establishment .

Just moved to the area. Shop at Goodwill in many states, but this one is the worst one ever. Way over priced. Selection is very poor. Clothing prices doesn't make sense. This is a very poor area. The prices should be alot lower so people can can afford to shop here.

I use to go there all the time it was a good place to shop. Now the prices are ridiculous for stuff given to them. You can go buy some things brand new elsewhere for the price they sell used stuff for. I thought Goodwill was for people with low budget incomes to help them buy for their family.

OK so literally the store smells like a farm animal or maybe someone who hasn’t bathed properly in a while. The prices are insane. They were charging $24 for a lamp. You could go to Walmart and buy a lamp cheaper not to mention where is the Goodwill? I find it hard to believe that the poverty stricken in Martinsville can come into this place and actually find something at a good price. The prices are so ridiculous you would think that we Are in a big city In a retail store. Shameful shame on you Goodwill for showing none.

The people that run the store are ridiculously money hungry. Goodwill used to be a place where people that couldn't afford to shop elsewhere could come and find affordable clothing, and other things, but this store is now even more expensive than shopping at Marshall's. Everything that they sell is given to them, and they mark the prices up to that a brand new merchandise. A large percentage of their merchandise is damaged and torn and worn to death and yet they charge way more than they should . They keep the dressing rooms closed so that you can't try on any of the items and then don't even give you a refund if it doesn't fit. The staff is rude and disrespectful. Goodwill is not here to help the community. They are here to make a profit. The only reason that they are getting a star for me is because I can't post this review without using at least one star but I assure you they don't deserve it. Don't waste your money here go somewhere else and spend the same amount of money, and get new merchandise.

I was told by an associate that goodwill no longer let's you try on clothes. You also can not return it is exchange only. I will no longer be supporting the goodwill for these reasons.
