Kept my cleaning deposit after I cleaned it better than how I received it. Then charged me more. Security door didn't work entire time I rented. More than one person living out of their storage container. Almost impossible to reach the staff via phone. Would be better to put your stuff on an empty lot, cheaper, same security, less homeless people as well.

The storage unit was very nice and easy to get to. The only season I took away a star is because the gate was not working when I moved my stuff out and I just drove in.

After renting the unit for many years, I only had an issue once, and they quickly addressed it. After that issue, they quickly moved to update the security with new fencing and 24/7 surveillance cameras. They were always great to work with!

Very good customer Service easy to move in and easy to move out. Jim was very nice person very helpful. If I had to recommend anybody to Cardinal storage I’d recommend everybody they did one good job.

The pros:•very hands-off management; we were able to initiate renting and terminate renting all without ever having to talk to anyone and we did it all online; payments are online too•electric fence for extra security (but at the cost of the renters… our monthly premium went up after they installed the electric fence)The cons:•poor move-out instructions; we moved out today April 26; we texted pictures to them to indicate the condition of our unit upon terminating our unit; someone called and said it the pictures looked like the unit had not been properly swept so we needed to sweep it or we’d lose our deposit; I told the person that those instructions were not communicated to us and that’s why we had not done it but that we would; so we went back and swept; we then got an email stating they successfully terminated our lease but that they were giving us $0 of our deposit back but without stating a reason; ridiculous•that dang entrance door was literally always broken! They raised our monthly rent to install an electric fence but then what good is that added security when the front door doesn’t even work? People could literally walk right into the unit and steal your stuff.•there were a lot of bugs; I know people are storing their stuff and probably bring bugs with them but the amount of bugs within that facility was awful; they need to have a pest control method in place•a lot of the lights around the facility stayed broken so if you went at night, you couldn’t see•the alleys are small; if there’s a big truck in there, there’s no way to squeeze past them•sometimes we’d try to come get to our unit and there would be big trucks blocking the entrance; we’d leave and come back several hours later but trucks were still there; apparently they don’t have any policies against trucks taking up all the space in that place and not allowing other cars to also be able to get in

Great place for storing your stuff. Veteran owned and great customer service. Jim, one of the owners was very accommodating and really bent over backwards to find me a unit that fit my needs.

We had a storage unit at Cardinal Storage for four years. We stored my mother-in-law’s furnishings there for four years after she moved to assisted living. We live in Ct and we never had any worries or concerns. We were always able to communicate via email & the monthly payment process went smoothly. We were very pleased with Cardinal Storage☺️

We visited with Jim while we were trying to find out storage unit size options, pricing, availability, etc. Our experience with the initial process met and exceeded our expectations. We ended up renting a unit and would definitely recommend this company.
