I wish I can give Doctor Rebecca Verna big Zero. She is horrible racist and hates people from a different counties. She refused to see my very sick kitty. And her assistant lied to me saying Doctor Verna is not accepting new patients. You are the bad doctor and acting like this toward sick animal who need a help very cruel and very unprofessional.I never recommend this doctor to any pet parents.Rebecca Verna is greedy monster who loves only money and nothing else.

We are having a few medical issues with Hanno, our 5 y.o. German Shepherd. He had his first seizure about two months ago, then another one a month ago. At that point we opted to stop all pharmaceuticals (Apoquel, ProHeart 12) especially after learning they can cause seizures. Going forward we will get titers testing done before doing any further vaccinations. We looked around Boise for a holistic vet practiced in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) so we could holistically heal Hanno and thought we’d found one. The results were less than impressive and we are still waiting to hear back from them a week later!I remembered that Rebecca L G Verna is a Holistic Vet and I contacted her. This morning, she spent an hour and fifteen minutes on the facetime call with my wife and me. She asked a TON of questions and even looked at Hanno over the video. Her knowledge is impressive and I felt like she was really invested in his well-being. She gave Hanno more attention on the facetime call than the local “TCVM” vet did in person. Not an exaggeration at all.Going forward, our go to vet is Dr. Becky Verna at Paws for Holistic Pet Care and we will use the local vet to run the labs and do the ‘hands on’ things we cannot do over the phone. You want a vet who will lean forward into the care of your doggie, I highly recommend Rebecca L G Verna. Thank you Becky!

Dr. Verna not only loves and professionally cares for our two beloved Bosties (Boston Terriers), Zion and Zoey, she calls us from time to time just to make sure they are doing fine! We know of no other doc who would do that! She truly cares about our furry family members, and we all love her, too. ~ The Schaefer Family ~

When it was time to help our 14yo pup cross the bridge, we called Dr Becky based on several recommendations. She made the entire, heartbreaking experience as easy and peaceful as possible for our family by coming to the home to perform the euthanization. Her presence was calming, loving, and respectful of the difficulty we were going through. What a blessing to have her here with us for the most difficult part of this transition. Thank you ❤️ ? ?

Becky has saved our dog from surgery with her depth of knowledge, compassion, and home visits! She is good with both fur-babies and humans alike. Five million gold stars and a big huge "Thank you!" from Lucy! Woof!

Dr. Verna was very personable, understanding, and patient with my doggie! She made sure my baby was comfortable and well taken care of. She was having problems of when I touched her on her side she would yelp with pain. After her treatment she is all better and no longer having issues! Highly recommend!

She's amazing!! my dog was able to reach his 12th birthday because of Dr. Becky!! He's a little shih tzu who got paralysis in his hind legs..couldn't use the bathroom on his own and was days from being put down but she helped save my dog. We are seeing her 4-6 weeks to maintain and monitoring him daily. My little guy, Batman! He says hi to you all. Even accommodating when it came to double masking when I asked--living with a baby so she made me also feel comfortable.

I love this woman!!! If you have a vet telling you to to put your pet down don't fall for it! she is In it to win it!!!! Your pet is the most important thing to her. I have the most respect for her. She will give it to you straight. Trust her...she knows her s...! What a god sent! My baby Tippy(presa carnario) went to her after my vet said he needs to be put down!(Cushing's disease)I was so devastated, I kept thinking he knows his name, he can walk he still shows affection? Why would I put him down... i love him? I found Beckie... I love this woman...the best!!!!

Dr. Verna is absolutely wonderful does it push you into buying things you don't need. Talks to you about every vaccine and its affect on the dog. Talks to you about the price of everything ahead of time no surprises at the end. Offers different options if your budget has restrictions. I have been going there for years and wouldn't go to a different doctor. Love this place.

Dr. Verna (Dr. Becky) earned our respect when she helped our elderly black Lab, Annie. Annie was a nervous wreck at vet visits until we started with Paws. It was clear that Annie was the center of attention at each visit. Unfortunately, our beloved dog passed over the rainbow bridge, but we are so appreciative that Dr. Becky loved her as we did, and that she was able to make her last couple of months better than we thought possible. If we ever get another dog, Dr. Becky will be our only choice for care.
