Got to register and was told I could use self checkout. I told the guy I needed cigarettes too. He said hold on I will be right back. 15 minutes later he came back to register and told me again I could use self checkout. I said once again I need cigarettes. He said hold on be right back. Waited another 15 minutes and walked out.

I walked in the store today, to do my normal daily shopping I wasn't in the store maybe thirty seconds before I was verbally attacked, and I was cussed and called every word of profanity that you could possibly imagine throughout the whole entire store, I was all the way to the very back getting toilet tissue and I could still hear the associate screaming and cussing and calling me names, and every customer in the store could hear her. She threatened me and made me cry in the middle of the store, and then went outside and was still cussing and screaming at me as I was getting into my vehicle. And I am disabled and I don't have time for this kind of mess just to go to the store that I go to every single day of the week. And the associates name was s h a c a n a h a n d y. This is very sad that associates are allowed to talk to customers in such a manner. And the key holder was actually standing there watching her and did not do anything to make her stop

Best dollar general on the entire eastern shore of Virginia always clean always friendly & always welcoming & helpful! They deserve a raise.

I walk and all employees were talking about a customer and spraying multiple cans of air freshener while customers were still in store. It was very rude, even if she had odor you don't allow other customers to hear you discussing it in public.

It was good giving it a 4 star cause boxes and other stuff need to be put up and ceiling need to be fix but the cashier's was quick and friendly ??☺️

Oct. 1, 2021 at 1145, lazy manager wouldn't give me any assistance. I will never shop at the Mappsville, VA Dollar General again!

I like to shop here but the sanitization process could be worked on.Also it would be nice not to walk down an aisle and not have to squeeze through because they have so many carts full of product that should be on the shelves and not in my way.

While waiting to check out, the clerk thought it better to sweep the floor. Yes, she saw me waiting because she said she'd be right there but left me standing for almost 7 minutes....

THe store beside Matthews market is clean, friendly workers, and lots of seletion. Much much nicer than oak hall! I give it 7 out of 5 stars!

Nice new store...Clean and Well stocked. Excellent grocery/refrigerator/freezer selection. Staff is very Friendly!
