Due to their ignorance Is laziness or greed they will lock your card down three times a week for security purposes. When attempting to unlock your card, be sure to know the last 4 digits of you're social security.Your mother's maiden name, your last direct deposit amount, And that will not be good enough, they will then ask you the amount of the last purchase you made. That will not be good enough.Then they will ask you the address of the branch you created the account. After all that they will tell you the fraud department denied the verification of your identity. As soon as you call the fraud department, you will wait on.Hold for the third time at a minimum of twenty five minutes even though the automated service says approximately six minute wait And you will repeat all of that information and they will finally clear the block. But but it gets worse. Apparently the block was put on because you attempted to use that atm machine three times. Fraud department can see that the ATM machine did not work due to a chip malfunction. Fraud department has declined.The first 2 or 3 phone calls.You made knowing that it was all because of their faulty debit card. And then smug a** NICOLE will give you an attitude and act like she did you a favor for unlocking your cardp0 that still will not work at an ATM

Would leave lower but Mohammed and manager change rules as they go .. very in consistent bad people don't bank there. Had an IRS check for a large amount would only take with 7 day hold, FROM THE US GOVERNMENT...!they said they woukd it then changed their minds once he talked to the manager.

I have been trying to take care my mom account and it has been a hassle. The legal department did what they needed to do and the local branch is dragging their heels. I'm hoping when I make this 25mil drive that they have done what took me almost 2 month to get done.

For the 2nd time now. I have gone to this branch to send a wire and it doesn't get sent. The first time I had to go back to find out what happened and the request was just sitting on someone's desk. And the 2nd time 5days have past I get a call from whom I am sending the money to tell me it never reached them.

This bank was good, but they lost their chance with me when the direct deposit messed up and I didn't get my money in time. When I went to close my account they said it was a technology issue but it was only this bank that had the issue

WOODFOREST Bank though small and in my experience they tend to be found primarily at Walmart, is a bank that takes care of its members. I have been banking with them since 2012 or so and I started my accounts in Salem OH at the, you guessed it (Walmart Location). I was working out in a very remote setting inspecting natural gas plant construction installations and they were able to cash my checks for me when no one else would. They also helped me set up a savings account and got me going with direct deposit and ordering my checks. I have since gotten married and had two children and have opened savings for both of them and my wife is also on my /our account. The mobile banking works great and rarely has any issues. It was one of the first banks in my experience to be able to replace a debit card the same day, for a nominal fee. If the card is faulty or has quit working they will give you a new card and typically wave the fee. Everyone has bad days, gets stressed out, and has to deal with difficult personalities, that being said all of the tellers and managers have been respectful, helpful, and courteous even when dealing with challenging situations and people. I have credit cards and Apple Pay, and PayPal, and a credit union account, but I refuse to give up my WOODFOREST account due to the reasons mentioned above! Thanks guys keep up the good work! (Very professional, and clean, they practice social distancing, and look out for their customers as well as society at large while still remaining personal).

This bank is a horrible toxic and bad environment place for employees and customers I've worked here and only been harrassed by my own manager and co workers please dont bank here or at any woodforest its unprofessional, rude, toxic environment! Corperate didnt do anything my whole 9 months of employment with this company its disgusting I tried to be as nice as I can be and helpful to my customers and people I worked with. They want respect but they dont give none.
