Impossible to shop for clothes here as they're beautifully but frustratingly organized by color, not size. Be prepared to find many gorgeous things that wont fit you. The glassware and knicknacks are great though, found many things I love there.

The Salvation Army in Manassas in an incredible place to buy Furniture, appliances, and anything else you need! The store is so well organized and clean. My mom purchased brand new sheets for a queen bed. They have so many brand new items as well as used, but in perfect shape. Gigi runs a tight ship. Everyone there is so polite and helpful!

This store is really great. Large selection of merchandise. The workers and managers are super nice. They are always happy to answer questions and offer a smile- even at the end of the day. The clothing is in very good condition and there a lots of great finds. Well organized by color. Thank you!

As soon as i walked in the door I said “wow” to myself and wanted to immediately video. This store is very organized and laid out. You will more than likely find what you were looking for and a little more. I did not get the name of the associate that helped me but she was very nice and wanted me to leave this review.

The store timings are till 8 pm. I don't know why they are keen to close the fitting rooms at 4 pm. Yesterday I was there and asked the worker about the fitting room closing time. She said 5 pm. When I went to the fitting room at 4:20 pm, they were already locked. I spoke to the manager, and he said they can close fitting rooms at any time, starting at 4 pm. How unprofessional! It is such an inconvenience for customers to spend time filling their carts and then have no place to try clothes.

A few years ago this Salvation Army Store in Manassas, VA was very disorganized, staff had a horrible customer service experience with bad attitude. The last couple of years, things improved tremendously to the better. Staff are more friendly, helpful and respectful. The items are more organized which helps out the customer to see what they need and can buy. The staff will go above and beyond to help customers, offering an outstanding customer service. It makes me feel that there are still good and willing people that will help, give their best and be kind to others. Mostly a good and professional leadership will have a huge influence on everyone including the customer. I learned, the manager of this store her name is Gigi. This lady is truly an angel. She shows how kindness can have a positive impact on others including the rest of her staff. She is a great example, a teammate and an amazing personality. Her smile, support, enthusiasm and professionalism is an outstanding asset to this store and the entire team.I personally want to thank each individual that works in this store wether in the back or inside the store and mostly Gigi, the manager for all their hard work they do for all their customers. I truly appreciate their dedication to their customers and work. Nowadays, this world is definitely in need to this type of outstanding individuals.

While this store has an excellent selection and is spacious, I have never had a good customer experience. Their dressing rooms have been closed for months due to staffing (there are always 4-5 staff milling about) and their BATHROOMS are also closed. It is a horrible experience to shop there. However, their prices seem fair for secondhand clothing, and they have SO MUCH clothing to sort through. I'll continue to shop here. I just hope they will eventually allow people to use the restrooms and dressing rooms.

I stopped in for the first time today and had a good experience. I found a lot of nice clothes for I think $4 or $5 a shirt and similar pricing for shorts and jeans. There are fitting rooms in the back that don’t require an employee to unlock. I didn’t see a bathroom. The prices on bags and shoes were more steep which was disappointing, and also they don’t sort the racks by size (seems that way at least). I do really appreciate the sheer size of the store, the Goodwills of this area seem to be tiny.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I get to the register and the person checking me out did not speak English; which is fine although communication was unclear. I asked to not include an item because I was on a budget and thought she understood. When she rung me up it was clear we were not at an understanding. I had an outstanding balance of $4 left on my total after inserting my card and removing it, even though the reader said approved? Anyways so I asked the lady to remove the item that I requested to be removed earlier but she didn't understand me so she brought over a manager. The manager said it was too late in the transaction for them to remove anything. Moral of the story I didn't get a lot of the things. I had picked up due to a mistake on their part.

One of the worst thrifting experiences. visited today and had to leave all my stuff behind because of how bad the experience was. One of the organizing workers called me little girl and said she is done organizing the clothes. I had placed a top I didn’t want in the tops section. Couldn’t remember exactly where it went and she got mad. When I got near the register the cashier told me I need to check out now because they are closing soon. I locked at my watch thinking wow it’s already 8 but it was just 730. She told me to being my stuff over now. Been coming here since I was young and never felt so unwelcome in a store

Don't donate and give a cent to this place. I scheduled a pickup for a perfectly fine leather couch and sofa. Reason they wouldn't take it is because they said it was too old to sell in the store. The last time I checked when a person has a need, especially in today's time, age of the item doesn't matter. The fact of the matter is they're just trying to make a profit just like the Goodwill instead of actually helping people in need. I can even understand electronics but a perfectly fine leather couch and loveseat is not understandable. If the two gentlemen were too lazy to pick it up and take it, they should have just said that. And the bad part about it is we are a military family trying to give to somebody else in need. Take your stuff to habitat for humanity or another charity organization. You won't get another dime from this army family.

Terrible experience! Found a nice windbreaker for $8, once the cashier noticed she gave it to her manager who told me his warehouse made a mistake and the price is supposed to be around $50 and refused to sell it. Keep in mind these items are DONATED, stingy store staff!
