When a tree limb fell and broke the glass on my Honda Civic , the insurance company offered an "easy" process with Safelite. little did I know how hard it would end up being. Long story short, they installed a window they knew was defective (no defroster leads), closed out the job charging the insurance, and then dodged me for months. They are a franchise, don't believe the national marketing, they have no control over the local shops. numerous appointments set up were moved with no call. Complaints to the corp. office led to nothing. "District Manager" never called, nor did the local owner, as promised by the national customer care center.Best thing would be for the lousy owner of this Manassas shop to close up and just go away. But why would he? there is no accountability for terrible behavior with SafeliteSave money (and a ton of hold time on the phone), use a local shop of almost any other glass company, you will be no worse off.

Emanuel was my service tech and he was very professional and punctual and extremely excellent installing my car windshield He also kept me up to date with text and email and calls i would recommend safelite and Emanuel as your tech to install your windshieldThank you Sincerely Ms Moran

I was driving on I95 about a month ago. A rock was kicked up, cracked my windshield. The Team really cared about my safety and my car. Insurance provided a replacement. I had no idea I could get an OEM windshield. While it did take a few days to get it - the wait was worth it! The Team is amazing! If your auto needs glass, this is the team you want working on your car.

Overall, Safelite continues to be one of the best run most easy to interact with businesses I’ve dealt with. Scheduling is easy they handle insurance claims very well and this location in Manassas. I’ve used six or seven times over 20 years and they are true pros. They always over deliver boys better than on time, friendly, courteous, and outstanding customer service.

I had a windshield replacement appointment scheduled for last Saturday, 8/5 with a window of 12-5 pm. I waited at my house until 7 pm. I never got a call saying they were going to be late or any update. This offset my day significantly. I eventually rescheduled the appointment (at 6:55 pm on 8/5) for Friday 8/11 from 12-5, but given the bad experience I had, I looked for another place. I found that place and made an appointment. I tried to cancel this appointment but the website was not working. Given the No Show status of your technician, lack of communication from Safelite, and lack of functionality of the website, I contacted mobile support. That was the only good thing about this experience. Mobile support was apologetic, understanding, friendly, and did not charge the cancellation fee. It took almost two weeks to get my glass fixed because I tried to use Safelite. This same problem has happened for a friend before, so given this isn't a one off, I do not intend to recommend safelite to anyone in the DMV. I found a better place which charges less, communicates better, and does not waste anyone's time. (Try Beltway Auto Glass!)

The manager at this location is rude and terrible, I ordered my windshield through the safelite website by inputting all my vehicle info. They ordered or the delivered to wrong windshield parts twice and offered to do a mobile install to make it up to me and then the manager refused to honor the printed contract price for the windshield. After calling safelite corporate and they customer support personnel authorizing her to honor the contract(which is strange, why sell the windshield at the contracted price to say you can’t honor that)She still refused me after having again contact the corporate customer service department, they finally forced the manager to honor the contract. The manage hopefully is no longer at this loss Tion she does this business a disservice with her attitude and inability to do her job.

I hate to see so many 1-star reviews from this place as I had the opposite experience. I had a very long crack in my front windshield that ran from left to right. Person at the counter said this was a "plain Jane" and sounded like it would be a quick repair. They quoted me an hour and a half wait and it was done in 45 mins. I will update my review if I notice anything wrong from the workmanship in the next 2 weeks. Other than that, they exceeded my expectations.

I'm so amazed by this place, the outstanding customer service and it's employees that went above and beyond my expectations. Went to get front windshield replaced and my USAA insurance took care of the bill.

Very frustrating set of events.... I first scheduled for a technician to come out to my home to replace the windshield. He got there and indicated that because my vehicle had an aftermarket snorkel installed I would have to go to the shop in Manassas instead. I then scheduled the install in Manassas and when I got there they told me they couldn't do it as well. They ended up canceling my order and referring me to TJ Auto Glass. All of this could have been avoided if they had just asked me some basic questions in advance. Very frustrating and time consuming. Just go to TJ Auto Glass and save yourself the time and frustration.PS - I only gave them two stars because the technician that came out was very friendly and explained why he couldn't do it at my house. And the automated system of alerts is very efficient.

After speaking with the General Manager Stephanie and Joe the Technician about their current subpar reviews. She indicated she has not been there long and is working to repair the review status and would like an opportunity to prove it.I decided to give them an opportunity to repair cracks in my Mercedes windshield. Ron proved to be knowledgeable and very efficient.As a result the repairs were completed expeditiously and I'm very happy with the results!I would highly recommend this location to provide services and would go back for repairs in the future if needed.Stephanie and Ron! Great Job!

This store is a disaster to work with. I needed my windshield replaced and the had an appointment. Three hours into the four hour appointment time, the tech called and informed me they don’t have a piece they needed. After lots of back and forth and a delayed arrival, the windshield piece was located and put on. Fast forward a few weeks and the windshield is leaking water into my car. I call and schedule a warranty replacement for their shotty job and would you guess, two hours into my appointment time, they don’t have the glass somehow. So I’m now having to wait until later in the week to even schedule the appointment. I don’t know if it’s their system or personnel but if I wasn’t bound to this company as per my auto insurance I would avoid it at all cost. Quite a disappointing experience all around and I would NOT recommend.
