Rolling Kitchens is Highly Recommended! This is our 2nd Food Truck with Rolling Kitchens and they are amazing. They are very professional and detail oriented. Our sales coordinator made the process from picking the truck to the equipment to the kitchen design easy and smooth. They kept us updated throughout the process and if this food truck is as busy as our first one, we'll hopefully be back for our third one.

Mark and his team were awesome. Very friendly group of guys that did the installation, and their customer service team was very easy to talk to and reach. Our church bought an old airstream and wanted to turn it into a food truck to use for special events. They gave us a good deal on the food truck window installation, and the service was quick. Thank you for making our first event a great success!

It’s been a couple months since I picked up my truck, I wanted to run a few times to leave an accurate review….Truck has been great. Zero problems with the truck and every inspection I’ve had (4 so far) has passed easily and with compliments from the inspectors on the build. RKC knows what they are doing on mobile food builds, I couldn’t recommend them more. Entire process was efficient and they delivered early.

Alright, this has been a long time coming but I though that since our truck opened recently it would suffice to write a review. I saw the reviews, I did my BBB research, and decided RCK would be the right fit for what we needed in a food truck. We spent 68k on a 21' truck outfitted for bao. Daniela no longer works there but was great during the purchasing process and working to the unique needs we had. After roughly 4 months, the truck was ready and we had it shipped to our home state. Everything went smoothly. The first time seeing the kitchen was surreal and amazing. It was dropped off at a gas station because it was "out of diesel". I filled the tank and cranked the key and noticed that the fuel gauge did not work at all. The check engine light was on. I warily drove it home, and upon trying to start the truck the next day it did not turn over.$0 in lost revenue. This is where the issues began. I had the truck towed to a mechanic, where they stated the rust damage was some of the worst they'd seen (2002, 50k mile diesel), and the batteries were wired with what is typically seen in residential use, not automotive. They told me it was a lost cause. I had it towed to another mechanic that seemed to have more experience with situations like this, and he let me know that the issues could be fixed but would require a custom rewire of the batteries and some basic component replacements. All in all, the repairs were around 3.7k, just to get the truck in running condition. I was not reimbursed for either tows, which were almost $1,000 out of pocket.$48,000 in lost revenue (based on our lowest day in sales). At this point I had taken another job thinking we would have to pursue other legal avenues.Thankfully, RKC reimbursed me for the repairs, which I commend them for. However, the truck had been at different mechanics for 5 months. After the truck was repaired and in running condition (still no fuel gauge as the part needed is hard to come by) I started working on the permitting process and realized the the generator cable was still zip tied to the bottom of the chassis, with no inlet to the generator box. I was told that "the electrician forgot" by RKC. The generator was never tested to work with my appliances and it was impossible to reach the generator with where the cord was. They reimbursed me to have the cord wired properly. Again, I commend them but it should never happen in the first place. It was alarming to me that this got past the team. The speakers never worked (and still don't), the appliances were never tested. On the way home from getting wrapped, the truck started slipping gears and broke down. Mobile mechanic was $600 parts and labor. This was the last of the mechanical issues for now, I have become comfortable looking into the gas tank with a flashlight. The next blow was failing our permitting inspection. The propane system had to be completely relocated, and this is typically covered under RKC's guarantee as an international company, but the window had passed while the truck was being repaired. Opening delayed another few weeks while we wait for another appointment and repairs. We had to remove the generator from the truck completely and fill the void with smaller propane tanks. Total cost of parts and labor was NOT reimbursed by RKC. The generator is towed separately for now, until we can build a cage on the back of the truck where the propane tank was.Overall, the build quality was great besides the issues listed above. I cannot deny that. One thing I will say is that there were a lot of metal shavings in the grease trap, near the prep fridge, and in crevices. Not so great for food service, a quick shop vac before shipping/pickup will solve this issue. At the end of the day, this truck is my baby and its hard for me to see it as anything besides that. What i've learned is that RKC is all about the KITCHEN. In my case, the vehicle itself was not given the same attention. In the future, I would work the RKC again, but have the truck inspected by a third party before c

From the moment we showed up inquiring about our need for a food truck to the day they delivered ahead of schedule, the team at Rolling Kitchen did everything to make our purchasing experience a satisfying one. Jean and Daniela were professional, accommodating, and personable. They showed us the price, the build, and the timeline for our vehicle. Then they walked us through the build so we could see the workmanship put in to the vehicle. We had hoped to get our food truck finished in 30 days; they got it to us in 21. Very impressive!

I am sadly disappointed in the services this company provided. For us, buying a food truck was a big thing. We've been saving for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. Unfortunately, promises were made but never delivered. The first truck he tried to sell us had a broken odometer and he was estimating the mileage because he said he didn't know what the actual miles were. We were then shown another truck that had a kitchen already fabricated but needed an engine rebuild. We went in and looked at the truck and were assured that the repairs would be done before the holidays. We were told that it would take up to three months to deliver. We negotiated a price and were asked to put a $28,000 cash deposit for a 14' rolling kitchen. Two months in, we receive a phone call asking us to sign a new contract for a different truck that they had not yet received because they would not be able to deliver the truck that was promised. They claim it was not repairable. They then told us they would get us another 14' kitchen to replace the one that was originally promised. When they showed us the truck, it was significantly larger than we had asked for. They claimed it would have been a 17' kitchen. This was much larger than we were able to store and would limits us on events. The truck was run down with bent wheel wells, an extremely rusted frame, with damaged tires. This was a very different truck than what was promised. He then let us know that we could bring in our own truck and he can do the fabrication of a new kitchen. We seized doing business with them at this point. Sadly disappointed in the quality of service that we were provided with and the fact that we were strung along for so long only to be told to keep looking elsewhere. Also, thank you for delayed response of three months to my post. It is similar to your business services. I have added pictures of the truck You we’re trying to sell me to verify your claims that I was lying about the product you were trying to sell me.
