Horrible experience with this shop. Unorganized, unable to keep a schedule, average quality work. Had my car for 8 months after quoting 4 months to complete, I had to go take the car back and take it to another shop, was told it would be finished in a week, time and time again. So many parts missing and unable to locate. Lost a lot of money here. Look elsewhere for restoration or significant paint and body work.

As a senior citizen, I highly recommend Robs Customs and Restorations for your automotive needs. Rob, the owner, went above and beyond to provide awesome service and he and his staff treated me with kindness and respect. Due to some mobility issues I was unable to drive my car and the emissions inspection was expiring. A friend had already taken it to a local service station but between multiple other cars in line and a salespitch from one of the servicecenters to perform additional unrelated services, I just had my friend return the car to me.At a friends recommendation, I called Robs business. He came and drove the car to his business, performed the inspection and returned the car to me.and even without telling me or charging me, fixed some fender damage on the car. Plus did not charge for the pickup or return of the car. Overall, he went above and beyond to provide me awesome service at a cost I could afford. It can be a challenge to do business as a senior citizen. not so at Robs. If I had a grandson....Services: Body & Trim

Exceptional service!!! Rob and his crew treat you like family and your vehicle like their own. They are professional, personal, trustworthy and perfection is their standard. The frame on my 2004 Toyota 4Runner had significant rust issues which prevented it from passing inspection. Rob's crew welded the frame and found a couple of other issues which needed to be fixed prior to inspection, fixed theses issues and then had it inspected. This is "Customer Care" vice Customer Service. It is rare to find Customer Care. It is the Gold Standard at Rob's Customs & Restoration. They are the best!!!Service: Welding

When I first met Rob, I told him what was wrong with my 57 Chevy’s headers being too low. He changed them and did a very good job. He also replaced the 4 barrel carb, fuel pump, and rearranged the transmission cooler. He did a great job. I’d recommend him. ?Services: Exhaust

I reached out to Rob's Customs to get a full paint job done on my 97' Celica Convertible, and I am beyond words how happy I am with the quality of work. I chatted with Rob for a little while about what I wanted to have done on the car and my areas of concern. I remember telling him I wanted this car, this project to be something he can be proud of, and I was not disappointed. The final result was even better that factory, better than I envisioned. This car was done right, and I just want to express how much appreciation and respect I have for Rob and his crew.

Took my Sprint to Rob's to get a checkup and some upgrades and Rob and his team did an incredible job getting my car running like it was brand new with some killer upgrades to the engine. Cannot recommend these guys enough. If you have a classic car and are looking for somewhere in the northern Virginia area to treat you right and do a great job for a great price, you won't find anybody better.Services: Battery
