Took my dog who was bit by another dog here to get antibiotics. I have a close family friend that runs a fairly large dog rescue out of the dmv area who already shaved and cleaned the wound which was the size of one tooth. I told the doctor that I didn't have hundreds of dollars as Christmas just passed and just needed antibiotics. She assured me it would not be hundreds of dollars l. $191 later my dogs fur was shaved a half inch more and we were given pain meds for a dog that is playing like a puppy the next morning. Also when you give somebody an estimate after you've already done what the owner asked you not to do that's a bill not an estimate. Will not be using this vet again!

The dr is lovely and courteous. The staff made an error on my bill and after sending them information from my bank account it was resolved.

Morganna definitely has my stamp of approval. Reasonably priced, excellent veterinary care. Dr. Fuller is smart, gentle and kind with my pets and unlike most vets, actually seems to like animals.

I was with them for years but had to change because my dog developed liver disease and they were not very knowledgeable to provide support. I wish they provided more guidance with severe medical concerns. For routine check-ups they are fine.

You arrive at your appointment with your dog the receptionist not a hello says to you it is terrible they treat you in a bad way as if you there for free they are not professionals. They do not care about the health of your pets only the money that you are going to pay them.

My family uses this vet. I don't understand why. Here are my experiences with my personal dog as well as my moms dogs over 10 years. This vet probably couldn't tell the difference between a dog or a cat, I would ask to see her license at this point. She told my dog that she didn't know what was wrong and prescribed her pain medicine, saying to call back if it gets worse. Pain pills didn't work. Called back, she told me to wait longer... Waited 4 hours and called back.. was told to go to the ER. She didn't say why or explain anything. I had no idea what to tell the ER when I came in. MY DOG WAS POISONED. IF WE HAD WAITED ANY LONGER SHE WOULD HAVE DIED. She legit had no idea what was going on and just sent me home with a bandaid. Another thing that questions her competency: I mentioned the name of an antibiotic my dog was taking that was prescribed by another vet. lol no joke, this woman had no idea what azithromyacin was. It's a very common antibiotic that even humans take. She legit rummaged around, found this old ass book from the 1970s, and looked up the antibiotic. First of all, that's hella outdated. Second of all, Google is your friend. Third of all, seriously?? You think I want to trust my dogs life to a woman who has been a vet for decades but still uses an outdated medical book to look up COMMON medications?? Another thing that annoys me. I dropped off a stool sample and the front desk told me it would only be an hour and that I was welcome to wait. Cool. It had been 2 hours so I called them to see if it was done. The woman said oh it should be any moment now. A few more hours later, I called them and then THEY told me it was finished.. they didn't even call me!!!!! I could have been in that parking lot for HOURS. The test literally takes 5 minutes. I've done fecal floatation tests in a lab before, it does NOT take 7 hours. Very annoying that they don't have in house lab/imaging so if you need any X-rays they send you to the ER vet down the street so you can pay 3x as much vs other vets that provide the service already. One of the big reasons why I took my personal dog to another vet in Manassas. Besides the vet that has no idea what they are talking about. I mean seriously. When my dog got poisoned she told me "if I had a magic wand I would use it" and "wouldn't it be nice if dogs could talk". Like what. That's your job. Don't try to brush off your lack of knowledge by shifting the blame. Dogs don't talk to any other vets and they definitely don't seem to need a magic wand to actually do their job. I don't have enough hours in the day to write this review. The ONLY NICE THING about this vet is that they ALWAYS have appointments open, even same day. Save yourself the money and just go to the ER vet or wait it out for an appointment at a reputable vet practice. There's a reason their appointment books stay empty. -7 stars. Sucks because it's so close to my house.

After over twenty years we are still satisfied with the care we continue to receive. Dr. Fuller is an excellent experienced doctor. After several visits of skin and tummy problems she recommended science diet's special food for sensitive skin and tummy and cleared up the problem with an inexpensive solution. Our 17 year old cat and three year old dog are healthy and happy.

I waited several weeks to write this comment after changing veterinarians. I did not want to write a review based on my reaction that Morganna Animal Clinic kept a file on me without my knowledge. This review needs to be about the care of my pet. We brought our dogs for care at Morganna Animal Clinic in Manassas for over 20 years. The last visit was for a follow-up visit of a Grand-Mal seizure, which cost me over $500. During the COVID-19 crisis to reduce the number of visits to the pharmacy, I asked for the vet to call in the prescription. Morganna was reluctant to call the phenobarbital prescription and the antibiotic prescription into the local pharmacy. I was told by the pharmacist the prescriptions could be called in. After my repeated insistence, Morganna finally called in the prescription. My pet was sleeping more and appeared lethargic, I was hoping the vet would talk about alternatives. They re-prescribed Phenobarbital. Fortunately, during the conversation I found out about the hidden notes. As a result, based on my unwillingness to do business with a company who writes hidden information about me, I looked for another vet. The new vet gave my dog all of the yearly shots, provided a check-up, prescribed an antibiotic, called in the phenobarbital prescription for a total cost of about $150. A second visit to the same vet that included a blood test, a follow-up checkup, a consultation and a review of the blood test was around $150. Morganna charges $150 just for the blood test. What is more important the vet spent considerable time with me and told me about another drug Zonisamide, that does not have the same lethargic side effects of sleeping. After talking with the pharmacist, she also confirmed that many vets are prescribing Zonisamide. I said it was fortunate, that I forced myself to change from a vet I routinely used to a vet that provided more detailed information, that improved my pet's quality of life, at a drastically reduced cost. This was not the first issue, there were a problem when we changed dog food, Morganna wanted us to buy more expensive dog food, the real solution was to return back to the previous dog food. We were learned from a specialty vet when our dog had skin allergies, they could be caused by the dog food. This was not passed on to us by Morganna. Even though Morganna says they will recommend that you can buy prescriptions at other stores for a lower cost, they did not tell us until we asked. It is your choice; you may want to consider if it is best to be comfortable with Morganna or can your pet receive better care elsewhere. I want to thank Morganna for the transfer of over 10 years of records to my pet's current vet at no charge; this is the reason I increased the rating. My pet is having a better quality of life with the new vet. I greatly appreciate the friendlier interaction that provides us with more thorough information at a reduced cost.
