So this is very very tiny. It's very clean. I think it might get more donations if the general public was more aware that this is a place to donate to

Price's are low and there are often discounts. Not the largest store/selection, but it's not overwhelming either, and they get some good stuff. Dropping off donations is also easy and staff have always been friendly.

This place has a wonderful selection of very Inexpensive items. Most times they are very high-quality. I do want everyone to be aware though that they do sell expired items, like hand sanitizer that was expired from 7 months ago. Even with the receipt they refused to take it back. That is just not good customer service.

Started visiting this year and am totally committed to supporting this store and its mission.-excellent prices + discount days-easy to donate and great hours to do so: park and bring things inside, no waiting for anyone to come outside to help you-easy parking for both donating and shopping-clear signage to the store in a nice, safe location-organized and well-labeled shop inside with great finds; I'm a fan of the housewares section-FREE BOOKS!-Friendly and welcoming staff.Directly helps the community through its food bank among other services. I support thrift 100% for the environment, and HoM 100% for the community.

They make it easy to donate stuff. It gives me great joy to know that the things I donated being sold at retail value. Also great place to shop if youre looking for great deal - its on the small side.

Upon retiring, I found it very rewarding to volunteer in their donation center. I did so for 4+ years and probably worked 15+ hrs per week on a drop in basis. Health issues put me on hiatus as did Covid. I went there recently to resume volunteering and was challenged because they said I was not on their schedule. I know that there are rules but at least they could have been nice about, allowed me to work that day, and specify that scheduling would be required in the future. I paid for a background check to be able to volunteer there initially, volunteered there for 4 years , was encouraged in the past to drop in when I could and have now pretty much been kicked to the curb. As a long term volunteer, I left there very disappointed, especially since I know they need volunteers. I may calm down but will probably find a more worthy Christian place to help out.

Very clean and organized. Donation process was very easy. Thrift store prices are very reasonable. I plan to go again and again as I clean out my basement and closets. Highly recommended!

House of Mercy is way to crowded with children and whole families milling around. The building is too small for offices, food pantry, merchandise. There are people who stay in one place ALL DAY Wednesday waiting for clothes to come in the back door and are 1st in line taking everything they want to look at and then they return them in their own good time. This is taking charity and using it for resale to a New Level. This is not fair and equal for all people who need help.

Way to expensive now! They price stuff now by the brand! This is not what Catholics should be doing! I am ashamed of this place!
