THIS LOCATION REALLY NEEDS TO OPEN UP MORE CHECK OUT AISLEs!!! For the love of everything holy every time I go to this location it takes forever to get checked out. There is ALWAYS a line out the door in the self check-out, and only 1 or may 2 checkout lines open. It can't be that difficult to open up more aisles.

A nice place to stop for groceries or other supplies in the Manassas area. Harris Teeter is a supermarket chain in the United States that operates primarily in the southeastern and mid-Atlantic regions. The company was founded in 1960 and is headquartered in Matthews, North Carolina. These stores offer a wide range of groceries, including fresh produce, meats, seafood, bakery items, deli items, and prepared foods. They offer pharmacy services, fuel centers, and online ordering for home delivery or pickup. As of 2021, there were approximately 260 Harris Teeter stores operating in the United States, primarily located in North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, South Carolina, and Washington D.C. As of Sept 2021, there are about 80 of these stores in Virginia. This particular location is off the North side of Hoadly road and has plenty of parking in front of the site. The store was the main store for the shopping center. The inside was clean and the staff was very helpful on my visit there. They have a good selection of grocery items and well-stocked shelves. Check-out was remarkably easy and quick with cashiers or diy checkout. I would recommend this if you need to buy supplies or groceries.

The customer service at this pharmacy is almost laughably bad - a couple folks in particular are just consistently rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly for reasons I just cannot fathom. They make it seem like you're bothering them for using the pharmacy. HT would really be well served by getting some friendlier people behind that counter, good lord.

I started going to Harris Teeter about 12 years ago. I found that they were a step above everyone else and a good value for someone that spends over $1000 on just groceries. My favorite things when I switched over to them were their butcher department and that they would open a lane anytime someone was in a line. That apparently has changed. At least at this location. This evening they had plenty of people working but only had the self checkout open I had a cart full of groceries and the under carriage was loaded up as well. That was the last straw for me. I realize I'm saying this about myself so yes, it may be biased, but I'm an easy person to please. This type of nonsense seems to have been getting a lot worse over the last year and I have no desire to list everything here right now but there is something wrong every trip. Their quality of service is in the gutters now. It's unfortunate but it is what it is. I always recommend developing your own opinions but I hope that this post will help you develop that opinion a bit quicker.

This is my go-to store when something is needed. Their store is kept clean and tidy. Everything is usually in-stock and very easy to find. Check-out is usually fairly quick. Staff always seems content or happy, never flustered, mad, or disappointed. Staff are always very helpful when asked to assist with something. Decent prices on everything in-store.I highly recommend the rotisserie chicken from the deli section. The staff there are amazing and will let you know how long until the food is ready so you can come back or hang around and get it fresh. This deli sections "Boar's Head" meats display looked amazing, and was possibly the best display I have seen in a store for quite some time. The packages were all orderly and in nice rows, with nothing out of place. The TV above the display played a nice and cheerful product informational clip, and was very welcoming and clean.

We love sushi and no other grocery stores compare to the move HT puts into theirs. So happy with this. We always chose HT if we aren't doing all you can eat.

Shout out to the bakery dept! The staff person that helped me (I wish I had gotten her name!) went above and beyond today when I needed help with some cookies. Her great customer service made my day!!

Definitely won't shop here again. Never come here to begin with. My family couldn't find the ribs they had on sale in their area so they came to mine. They didn't get the sale when we went back to show them they charged the card incorrectly they made the entire situation painful and long. Didnt even get the full refund. I'll stick with wegmans and safeway.

It was busy in the store and I was standing in line, waiting patiently. All registers had similar waiting lines. When one employee quickly comes out and just shuts the line down that I had been waiting in for at least 20 minutes. Didn't have any courtesy or professionalism to say anything to those of us waiting in the line and quickly walked off. Not the first time I've experienced bad service and unprofessional employees at this store. It will be the last. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on & tell everyone I come across to not shop at this store.

Done with this place. Have had to point out dairy that was expired for months (usually yogurt) so many times. I have even pointed out applesauce that was three years expired on the shelves. 2 weeks ago we had to point out Hellmans canola oil mayonnaise on the shelves that expired before Thanksgiving (over a month). Produce is always very poor quality. But the kicker came tonight, we bought lobster tails last night from the "fresh" fish section. I took them out tonight to cook and I will never ever forget the smell and color of them. Still want to vomit from it. This place seriously needs a look from the health department. Management doesnt care, and few of the employees do. Will drive a little farther and pay a little more to go to Wegmans and not get food poisoning.

I am somewhat disappointed with how this Harris Teeter is shaping out to be. They used to be amazing! I remember coming here opening day with the store jammed packed and it was so for over a year. Unfortunately, this Harris Teeter is showing signs of slipping. They are taking away every sample. No more bread, meats, cheeses, fruits, or bakery. They don't even seem to have balloons for the kiddos! The staff have lost their personalities and only a few are helpful. General varieties are disappearing and the staff shrug it off. What happened to this place? I used to compare the store to Publix. Unfortunately, the prices in the store don't justify the experience whatsoever. I used to come in for the "buy two get three free deals". They were truly amazing and I always wondered how they made profit. Nowadays, prices are barely beating out other stores. For example, a pack of Pepsi cans now cost around $7.50. Also, just about every other store carries their own line of goods and are cheaper than the competition. Somehow, the Harris Teeter brand milk is higher price than the competition, named Highland Ranch (or something close). I don't know what's going on, but I am not really motivated to go to the store anymore. I hope that the management can step up their game, because right now they are not doing a good job. Luckily for Harris Teeter, they are still able to beat out some stores. Unfortunately, they are sitting at the same level as Food Lion. For now, I will only be visiting from time to time for the sub-par "buy two get three free deal".

Not bad for a full service grocery store where you can also pick up lunch. They offer deli style sandwiches and subs as well as a salad and soup bar. The many times I've gotten tla soup, the flavors were either 'off' and/or had too much sodium, so I'm done trying that here. As for the rest of the store, it's neat and clean and always well-stocked, just slightly too pricey.
