Critical: Professionalism, Value I generally give good reviews for reasonable work. However, I do not appreciate when a company deceptively charges and takes advantages of a customer. My husband decided to go with this company after they gave an estimate of 7 hours for a quote of $420 per hour. The thing is the estimator came in and took a good look around before giving this estimate. However, at the end of the day yesterday, the movers took 12 ( includes an hour of travel) hours!! Which is over 50% more than they had estimated. This is a fraudulent way to do business, and I am livid. Again, avoid this people and if you have already been deceived, I encourage you to file a claim again them with the state and better business bureau. While estimates are not guaranteed, there is a legal requirement that the estimate not be more that 10-20% over what was originally estimated. Avoid them! My husband just spoke to a Susan, who asked what solution he wanted. When my husband asked about splitting the difference given this unreasonable estimate discrepancy, she talked as if the company's profit was all she cared about! I could not believe my ears and I am right now making a list of the different agencies to report this company to... Read More
