I was charged $150.00 by owner to install a $20 trailer hitch. Might as well installed it myself. Ridiculously expensive, probably took him 5 minutes. Not good business, NEVER giving him a good rating or references.

Phil and his mechanic Will always know whats wrong as soon as i bring it in. Theres none of that " oh we need to diagnose it for 2hrs" They dont jack the rates up on you and they have always been honest and fair. I wont take my vehicle anywhere else

The best shop in Northern Virginia to deal with all your auto related needs. They installed a transmission and clutch in my car at a really fair and honest price, gave me tips on where to get a transmission, and installed it with no issues for the last couple of months. I’ll be back with all my needs on my car and recommend this shop to other people I know :)

Covenant Auto Service is a very ethical and reliable shop. They have done work for me, and I have also recommended to family members and friends and it has always been a very satisfactory experience all around. Could not be happier. I have found their work on my car timely, expertly done and at a reasonable cost. I won't go anywhere else. Couldn’t recommend Phil at Covenant Auto enough. You will not be disappointed.

I had a headlight out on my Honda Accord, which I know is something that I probably could have handled on my own, but I was having a busy week and didn't want to deal with it. Phil was able to fix it the same day that I contacted him. He also came to my parking lot at work to pick up the car and brought it back in about an hour, so it was no inconvenience to me to get the work done. He charged a very reasonable price and I would recommend contacting him with your car troubles, big and small.

We visited this shop to have a tow hitch and reciever installed on our Ford F-150. Phil said he could install it and would charge us $575, estimating 2 1/2 hrs to complete the work. We returned 2 1/2 hrs later and found that Phil had only attached a ball hitch to the stock bumper of our truck. This is no more than a 15 minute job that we could have done ourselves. We clearly spoke with Phil about what we needed and it wasn't a ball hitch. Phil decided to charge us $200.00 for what he said was his "time". We were not happy that he used our truck to pick-up the "parts" which he said he could not pick up using his own car. He did not need to use our vehicle to pick up what ended up being just a ball hitch. We asked him about the ball hitch install and he became very defensive stating the truck already had a 5,000 towing capacity system and did not need a receiver. He mislead us and failed to communicate the intentions of his work. He should have consulted with us instead of taking it upon himself to think a ball hitch was enough. We ultimately went to Uhaul who installed the tow receiver for a fraction of what Phil quoted us and in less time. I highly recommend checking out Uhaul for all your towing needs! They are clear about their prices and work. We are giving this unethical business a 1 star rating because a 5 star rating is undeserving.
