Our building no longer has an operational cafeteria, and today, I had no leftovers from the night before because I had no time to cook yesterday like usual. A friend said that Samsky's had great breakfast, so I bought two egg & cheese burritos--one for this morning and one for lunch because I'm not going out and I'm not ordering in (New Year's resolution pertaining to work). I gotta say, that was by far the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had outside of my own home. I love the atmosphere of the shop--they have lots of items a small convenience store carries but with delicious food. Thanks, gents, for the lovely conversation, a wonderful start to my day, and the terrific food. Keep doing what you're doing. You are very much appreciated. I am a new fan!

Horrible service. Went in only to see if they had a restroom. The guy behind the counter saw me standing there and wouldn't even look up. Then told his other customer that he was waiting on to hurry up.

I come to Manassas once a week and I try to stop here almost every time on the way! I specifically take a long way so I can stop here. My favorite sandwiches are the breakfast sandwiches. The ice cream is awesome! To top it all off anybody you meet who is working in there is as nice as can be. 20 out of 10 would recommend this place if you need to make a stop in the area.

It reminded me of the Sac-O-Suds from My Cousin Vinny from the outside. On the inside a great selection of hand dipped ice cream cones or cups. We’re coming back!

Great place, honestly thought they closed down years ago until yesterday I drove by and bam there it was, Cashier was wonderful gave me a big scoop of ice cream. Brought back a ton of memories as a kid, I would be at my mom's aunts house right next door back in 1987 buying gum for .05 cents and ice cream for .45 cents Mr Samsky was a wonderful man back then

Great family owned and run store its a part of our history in Manassas, Virginia. Walking into this place is like stepping back in time. A time when people knew each other by their name, and had time to talk about what fish are biting at the local fishing hole, current events, and how the local farms were doing? Friendly knowledgeable staff that make you feel like you are home. This place is a true gem..

Friendly, clean, been going their when john, joe, andy were there... in between and now with young john! We need them at Independent Hill... family owned and family run. Will Never go to Sheetz..never.

I stop there every morning before school (employee) to get a breakfast burrito. It's always delicious. The employees are personable too. This place has a great small-town jewel feel on the outskirts of a well populated place.

they reopened and john and staff are running it. super nice small town friendly service. excellent breakfast and lunch sandwiches. truly A+ dad would be proud!
