The school has really made positive upgrades in last year in half. Mrs Heather and Mrs Nicky are really informative and friendly. There have been many family events that we really enjoy partaking in. I attended the graduation for my nephew and it was phenomenal! Lights camera action! The atmosphere for the event was top notch it even had a slide show! The children were happy as were the teachers. You could see the relationship between the children and teachers and the office personal were so loving and welcoming.
The building is a lot bigger than what the outside looks like. When you walk in the building it looks and smells nice. It has lots of classrooms . In front foyer area you can see boards that show different events the school has had and a bio of each staff!
Would recommend the school. It was the first graduation that I have seen where the school put so much effort.

My child went to this daycare for a summer and I had to pull her out. The staff were unprofessional and I often worried about my child's safety while she was there. I would not recommend this daycare/preschool to any parent.

My two boys been going to this center for a year now. They havent been the great providers for the kids and other parents could agreed more. Its shameful how we expect to put out kids here and be treated good and not the bare minimum. They dont often own up to their mistake's and often blame children for the cause. Thr director mrs debbie and i have gotten into an argument and called my child some unsettling names saying he isnt thr victim. Well yes my child is thr victim because you failed to provide wrll ttained teachers that doesnt put hands on children and allowing other kids bullying my child and yelled at him bc he cant do verbally speak yet so they blame him knowing he cant not defend himself. This center is very unprofessional. They have violated by not reporting any suspicious child abuse to licensing and how come parents arent aware of these violations? Im just fed up honestly and to give dirty water and saying because we dont take it home and if its stayed here over night how come your not cleaning it. How come your not changing students how come any of the issues are being solve but blaming children is crazy to me.. it shouldnt be that hard but damn shameful. These are kids they spend nearly 7 hours MOSTA OF THE TEACHING WILL BE AT THR CENTER... and it seems like this place needs to be shut down and take a course of how to run a proper daycare. Every time i call they make it seems like im nagging about small things.. but truly its big things that needs to be solve... crazy do not enroll your child in here. Their out many other places but this place isnt the one. They are so many other things but... i really hope you hire teachers that dont YELLED, or GRAB kids.

Our children have been going to bull run COA for 5 months and our child was recently abused by one of the teachers. Police, CPS, licensing, etc were all involved and the teacher still was not fired. She is returning to work. I was told by a teacher that previously worked with my child that she reported this teacher multiple times to the director and nothing was ever done to remove her from this center. I just want to give everyone a heads up to what they are signing up for if you put your children here. Some teachers are GREAT. While others will lay their hands on your child, push them onto their sleeping cot and throw blankets on their heads after being asleep for a hour and a half.

Miss Debbie came in with dedication and ambition when the daycare lost some staff members and the previous director. She's done an amazing job and still keeps going with a smile on her face! Skarlet and I love her and the energy she brings to the atmosphere! I recommend this daycare

This place has been a wonderful welcoming space for my son.He has grown socially a lot. He has learned lots of things.I am so so grateful for what they do here. They care about their work and it shows.I am really amazed how much my son has learned, and how much comfortable he is being in a school environment at this age.I am so thankful for all the days they care about my son, and I congratulate them for doing what they do with the kids at this age. It's been a happy place for my son to go to, and to see him wanting to be there.Thank you in all ways possible. If this review matters to anyone looking into this place as an option for their kid's early schooling and learning, please consider this my best attempt at the highest recommendation I can offer to whomever wanting/needing to find such school. It's been very rewarding in the example of my son.Thank you Children of America Manassas Bull Run Place staff, each and everyone that's been involved.

Two of my kids have went to Children of America over the years. My middle daughter has moved on to grade school and my son will be next. We’ve had several teachers over the years. Miss Nikki, Miss Asia, Miss K, Miss Shannon, Miss Brianne, Mr Delmar, Miss Suzy and as well as others were great to work with! I recommend!

1. Employees:a. My understanding is that employees should be wearing a face mask dueto COVID-19. I have walked into the facility and see that teachers are not wearing face masks. This is not a one time thing. This is almost every day. I see parents waking in and not waiting for a staff member to take their temperature.b. Teachers are not wearing name tags or their uniform. How should Iknow who’s a teacher or a parent. I have talked to you about this situation a couple months ago and I have yet to see the problem addressed.c. Teachers are not friendly. They don’t give any welcome greeting whenparents pick up their children. I feel that they should be more friendly and loving to the kids. Instead, they appear unhappy as if they are not enjoying their jobs which is worrisome as a parent.2. Weather:a. I want to know what the policy is for taking the kids outside.Yesterday, I picked up my kids and the temperature was really hot; like90-91 degrees and humid. my daughter was sweating as if someone had splashed her with some water. Mrs. Stacy and Suzie saw how wet she was and she also got a big sunburn from it; even though they put sunblock on beforehand. It was not enough for her. In my opinion, when it’s uncomfortably hot, the kids should not be outside due to the possibility of a sunburn.b. The teachers also need to offer the kids water when they come insideto prevent dehydration.3. Daycare:a. The school looks so simple and empty. There’s no class work from thekids. The appearance looks as if the daycare is falling apart; much like an abandoned house that filed for foreclosure or bankruptcy. When I walk into the daycare, I don’t feel a familiar or friendly atmosphere. It feels like no one is taking care of it.b. Can you please order another machine to swipe? This is an old machinethat has been having problems almost every week. Also, the computer of security to get in the building.c. Even on Facebook, there’s no pictures of our school. It is as if theschool is not proud of the students that they have. Instead, they put some other locations pictures, which seems like false advertisement.d. The school doesn't have any events and appreciation for the staff orfamilies. Since I have been a Children of America Bull Run parent, it has changed but for the worst, not the better; in my opinion.

My kids absolutely love coming here! They always get excited to see Ms. Nikki and Ms. Laura and Ms. Mary (who is the director at the school). Every morning, myself and my kids are greeted with smiles and the same goes for pickup, as well. I've noticed a drastic improvement with my daughter's reading since she started attending CoA. She surprises me all the time when she points out words that she sees in passing. Ms. Susie has done a great job with teaching her. The communication here is great. The teachers and director are diligent with keeping me informed either in person, with emails or through the Tadpoles app. My son has a lactose intolerance condition and his teachers have been wonderful with keeping up with that. I feel safe sending my children to this daycare. The staff take great care of them and always leave them with smiles and excitement for the next day. I definitely recommend anyone with children to give CoA a try!

Mrs Nickey with the Preschool 2’s is amazing. She loves her job and it truly shows. She is stern with discipline, without being mean, which my husband and I love about her. My sons skin is never red under her care. She keeps me updated on his progress and any concerns she has. I could not be happier with COA since my son started there 3 months ago. Also, Mary the Director is very communicative and she is very involved in the kids activities. I love that she knows all of the kids names.*****july 2020****IN RESPONSE TO DELMY REVIEW:1. The teachers love their job. They are always smiling. They always wear their mask. And They always check temperatures upon entering. They always make sure parents wear their mask.3. They have very colorful walls and is not boring or falling apart. The facility is clean and neat. The toys are in good condition.4. The director Mary takes GREAT care of the facility. She is constantly helping hands on with the students.5. It is UNFAIR to give a one star review after one sunburn, one red butt from diaper, or one parent not waiting for their temperature. On another note, possibly redundant, Ms Nikki is amazing. Our son vocabulary has gone from less than ten words to about a hundred in only 7 months. He is always excited to go to class. He loves reading. He has grown SOO much. This place is a gem. We trust our son here in their classes five days a week. (Also their prices are very reasonable).
