Alpha-Bet has the greatest community environment. Everyone works together to make sure our kids get the best early education experience possible. They are always coming up with new ideas to change things up and keep the kids excited to come to school to play and learn.
Alpha-Bet Preschool is a non-profit, non-sectarian and non-religious cooperative school. The school is owned and operated by the parents and staff who have experience in early childhood development. We are proud to be the only cooperative preschool located in Prince William County for more than 55 years. The cooperative model recognizes that parents are the child's primary educator, so parents work on a rotating basis in their child's classroom as assistants. In 2017, Alpha-Bet moved to a hybrid model that allows those families unable to assist in the classroom to still benefit from the small class sizes and community environment that Alpha-Bet provides by opting out of acting as a teacher's assistant.
