Dropped off my car there to have a distributor and ignition box installed and have the carburetor tuned. Was charged an arm and a leg for the work done and had to have the car towed back twice and was charged an additional fee after the second tow. I would not recommend the shop ...I do not trust the integrity of this place.

I'm sure these guys know their stuff since I saw the type of cars that they work on. I'm not quite sure about their honesty and integrity though. I purchased a car from a person who had these guys install a new EFI system. A couple days into my ownership, I started experiencing a fuel cavitation issue. Since this shop installed it and I hadn't had time to comb through the car yet, I took it back to them to take a look. They kept the car for several weeks but told me they couldn't figure out the issue. They ended up replacing the ignition module which didn't need replacing and charged me $400+. On the drive home, I experienced the same problem and also noticed my headlights were no longer popping up (perhaps this is a coincidence but they are fairly new electric headlights versus the original vacuum). Its been a few months but I finally have had the chance to go through the car thoroughly myself. The car is using its original fuel lines which is inadequate for EFI. I'm certain that this shop knows this since they've installed many more EFI systems than I have. 400 bucks well spent to test the integrity of this shop and to know not to take future projects here.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We took our 1965 Chevrolet nova super sport to these fellas as it surely needed some help! Running rough, leaking in a few different places and not shifting well. David and Mike fixed it up and it's running like a champ! SBC for those keeping track. Courteous , professional and knowledgeable.

Hot rods are for rich guys and gals so I'm sure a hot rod shop is gonna take advantage of me, right? WRONG! I bought my 34 Ford Fordor hot rod out of Montana and after having it shipped here it didn't run very well. With trepidation I took it to All American Street Rods. What I found was a group of guys who are living their passion. After a good inspection Dave went through the list of things he thought I should consider having fixed. There was no pressure and the rates were very reasonable. The 327 came out running like a top and everything they recommended and fixed made the car drive that much better. "All American" is appropriately placed in the shop's name as they remind me of the America I grew up in. Good, honest, hard working folks that treat you right. I highly recommend them. Warning: If you aren't careful you will end up with new friends and maybe an extra car or two.

I’ve had them do custom work on both my brand new truck and an old truck. Dave is PHENOMENAL and very insightful. He really takes the time to explain everything and doesn’t make you feel as if you are being pressured. If you are someone who got in an accident and needs repairs or have something you want custom work on - highly recommended this clean, well ran family shop that will care for you like their own.

Dave is perhaps the most knowledgeable, friendly, and honest auto expert I have met (calling him just a "mechanic" just isn't quite fair..). Absolutely should be your first and only choice in the NoVa area for any repairs, modifications, or customizations to classic American muscle cars or high performance vehicles. I was referred to his shop by a family friend when my 1986 Chevy Camaro began seriously overheating, shortly after I had spent lots of time and money having other mechanics work on it...Dave and his team were able to quickly diagnose the exact problems and get the car repaired less than 24 business hours after I dropped it off over a holiday weekend. And in the process of fixing the problem at hand, Dave pointed out a few other areas to consider working on over time and threw in a lot of free advice and some personal stories. If you need any work done on 80s Camaros, American muscle cars, or any performance vehicle, can't recommend him highly enough. Thank you again Dave.

Do not recommend entering the car shows. Awards to be given at 2pm but 3 hours later and people are still waiting for the awards to be announced. And no one has said anything rrgregard the reason for the delay.
