J & Son did incredible work on our 70-year-old church altar and baptismal font! Viqui communicated with us throughout the process by text and e-mail. You can see from the before picture that the communion table was in sorry shape. The after photo doesn't do the refinished table justice--Juan himself did the beautiful, detailed work of sanding the old dusty rose paint out of all the creases. He also stabilized the veneer table top so it's less susceptible to water damage that had previously raised one corner. The top of the baptismal font also had water damage, so Juan replaced the veneer with mahogany. Thanks to Juan and Son our historic church altar furniture will be beautiful for at least the next 70 years. We are so grateful! Central United Methodist Church in Arlington is ready for our Easter grand opening!

There is a reason this business has five star reviews - because they deserve every one of them. They refurbished every inch of our antique reclining chair, inherited from my husband’s great grandfather. The padding, reclining mechanism, beautiful leatherwork, all of it is truly stunning. It was certainly an investment, as any quality item is, but I know this chair will continue in the family for generations to come. HIGHLY RECOMMEND (see before and after photos)

Juan reupholstered and repaired 4 dining room chairs for me and they came out great. They were in bad shape. He explained to me how he would do the repairs so the chairs would be structurally sound and he helped me select a fabric. Juan has years of experience and it shows in the final product. To top it off, he is really friendly and competent in every way. He promptly answered all my emails and his pricing is fair. I recommend J&Son 100%.

They refurbished my Dad's old office chair - and it looks great. He is so happy with the outcome. The team is great, working with you on fabric choices to manage the total project cost and delivering the finished product in a timely manner. I am very happy I found them and will use them again!

I have a wooden glider/rocker chair that was making a horrible clicking noise. After several dead ends from the manufacturer, I found J & Son. From the first phone call, to picking up my fully repaired chair, they were communicative, up front, detailed and timely on my repair! I’ll definitely be using them again for future furniture repairs!

I cannot say enough good things about Juan and his team. I had a full pine bedroom set redone as well as a dining room table, 10 chairs and a side table. They picked up the furniture and delivered it back. They repaired and finished every piece and everything look brand new! I wouldn’t consider anywhere else.

Super service and quality work. Dropped off an ottoman literally on its last legs. A week later picked it up and it was better than brand new. J and Sons stapled the bottom lining more securely around the legs than the factory did. The broken two legs were solidly in place and the other legs were more firmly attached. Reasonable pricing, prompt work, and quality product. Highly recommend this business.

Great customer service and great repair. They repaired the arm of a leather couch that had been badly damaged by our dog. They matched the leather very well and it workmanship was flawless. It looks original, not like a repair. Friendly and flexible customer service and they were very fair on the price and looked for ways to reduce my cost.

I purchased a couple beautiful antique chairs years ago with an intentional thought to refinish them myself and then take them to someone to do the upholstery. After several unsuccessful attempts due to the intricate woodwork, I decided these chairs need a professional. After scouring the internet I stumbled upon J & Son's site. A picture in their gallery looked similar to my chairs. I gave them a call and the rest is history. I guess-timated what the cost would be. The actual cost was slightly higher than what I'd imagined mostly because I hadn't factored in the cost of the upholstery fabric. I am thoroughly pleased with the customer care and professional service I received. I'll definitely use their services again.

Truly thrilled by their work on my family heirloom table. The table frame was completely split while being shipped and they not only did they repair the frame, but they reinforced the table to ensure durability, and I can't even tell which side was broken to begin with.
