“I was in the area today due to my husband going to the medical center and getting his eyes dilated. Thus, it was possible that I may be the one driving home. Anyway...while he was at his appt., I decided to walk around the shopping center (FairLakes Promenade). I had seen Home Sense before but never got around to checking it out. Finally, got to do that today. At first glance, it looked like it was a furniture store. Yes, they have lots of furniture but a deeper look showed there was so much more. There are towels, bedding, kitchen utensils, household cleaning items, rugs and decorative items. My intention was just to look not buy. However, when I saw the food items, I realized that I needed a shopping cart. Things that caught my eye...imported pasta, pasta sauces, spices, sweets and a cleaning formulation for shower doors and mirrors. Truthfully, there were other items that attracted me but I exercised will power. For example, I saw a lovely vase but my sensible side said "we don't need another vase." There was artwork but sensible side said "We have enough of that and only so much wall space". When I went to check out, the cashier was friendly. I found out, when he tried to get me to sign up for a credit card, that they are part of a conglomerate that includes TJ Maxx. No, we don't need another credit card! My haul ended up costing $35 plus change. Once we were home, I showed my husband my haul. He asked what it cost and was pleasantly surprised. Aw, gee! I'm so proud of myself :D So, no regrets for paying Home Sense a visit!”

The prices for items have gone up a bit, but overall I think the quality of the store and products is still excellent.However, I do hope that the company has taken into consideration the well-being of their employees and has raised their wages to match the increase in item prices. It is important for companies to not only focus on their profits but also the welfare of their workers. I hope that Dollar Tree is able to find a balance between the two.In conclusion, if you're looking for a clean, well-stocked store with friendly service, Dollar Tree is a great option. Just be aware that prices have gone up a bit, and I hope that the company has taken steps to ensure their employees are being fairly compensated.”

“This place is very convenient and has a lot of different snacks, from flaming hot chips that are harder to find, to the classics. They also have a good variety of bottled and canned drinks for $1, or chocolate, candy and gum.This place is widely stocked with a bunch of other things like clothes, leggings, pants, bags, and household items. “It's more than just a $1 store. I was amazed with how many grocery items they have, so many different cereal boxes to choose from as well as tons of OTC meds. If you are just starting up a household, there's fun decor at great prices. I went in for some Christmas gift bags and ce out with so much more. I even enjoyed talking to a sales associate that was super friendly.”

“I had a really good time there the cashier was this young Asian girl and she treated me very nice. I believe her name was Sophia. She was very accommodating and helped me find my items. “Stopped in on my 30 minute lunch break for some cute Christmas bags and some tags.. 2 lanes open for customers but only one cashier was ringing up items. In the other lane the cashier was reshopping her lane and basically ignoring that there were almost 20 peaople waiting in line. So I asked the woman, is this line open. She looked back rolled her eyes and said yeah give me a minute and she took herself a few minutes why we continued to wait. Guess Customers come second in the DOLLER TEEE.”

“While I live within 1/8th of a mile from the Centerville store, I come to this one for several reasons, first, they always have in stock items that are important like paper towels, toilet paper, foil, you get the rest. Second, I'm an adved crafter and they always have a great selection of crafting necessities. I've yet to see an empty hook. They even have stuff that I've never seen at my local store. Staff are always busy stocking, cleaning and ringing up customers. If I ask a question, it actually gets answered. I don't get that far away stare as if to say- I have no idea what your talking about. They actually walk me to where the item is that I'm looking for. While at Dollar tree you ever may have considerable accounts of clutter and items tossed all over, this store keeps up with the disorder as best they can. Customers that drop, spill and make huge messes without cleaning up after themselves takes away from them tending to more important things, all in all they truly do their best. That's why I travel the extra miles, they take pride in their work and seem grateful to have a job.”
