Asked if he could repair a vw trike said yes and never set up appointment called him back and he said a couple of weeks he never got back with me I know he’s good at repairing vw but can’t get a appointment to get repairs had to do the work myself

So glad we found Grant , Katie and their crew at Skyline. It's always hard to put your trust in a complete stranger especially with your vintage car. I can tell you from my experience, this is one solid company and I'm pretty critical, according to my wife. Her 77 Super Beetle "Lilly" is ready for summer and more. We took her in for some pretty significant oil leaks and they took care of everything at a reasonable price. This best part of my experience was meeting someone who knows these vehicles backwards and forwards. Grant takes the time to walk you through your vehicle and explains what "could" be done and what "needs" to be done. He even explained to me what I could do as a DIY which I've done for years but I know when to quit! Thanks Grant & Katie. You're good people!

Grant and his crew do great work at a fair price. Took my Westy there for some exhaust work and not only did they do a great job of fixing it, but he took the time to explain everything to me and educate me on a few other repairs about my van. I am very happy with their work and my experience there.

The owner and the mechanics have outstanding knowledge, skills, and abilities with vintage VWs.They can solve any mechanical issue an air-cooled VW may have. The shop prices are both fair and reasonable. Their customer base is huge, and their services are in demand, so don't expect an immediate turnaround.Thanks to Skyline, my 78 Westfalia is now running and driving perfectly.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

Hours posted on the door are M-F 7:30-4:00pm. They Do have a key drop off, pictured if you need to leave it after hours. They are a mechanic, classic car restoration (mostly VW), they have Uhaul rental, Virginia inspection station, and Tires shop.

We have an '85 Vanagon that we've been driving across the country for the last six weeks or so. We've had issues for the past few weeks and have contacted people in pretty much every state we've been through (from Michigan to Maine and now down in Virginia and everywhere in between) and everyone has told us that the soonest they'd be able to get us in is the fall (we live in seattle, so that's not in any way practical). We just happened to drive by skyline on our way to a winery, and figured we'd take the chance and pop in to see if they could help us. I'm so so grateful we did. They obviously have a lot of work on their hands, but they got us in within a few hours. Not only did they fix our exhaust issue, but they showed my husband a few other things that he should look out for and get fixed when we can, and even gave us a few bottles of water to help beat the heat. Really thoughtful, considerate, knowledgeable people. Very much recommend. Thanks so much!

This guy is a joke.I'm the guy who built the orange vw beetle that you supposedly fixed.You took advantage of a good person and made a profit based on lies .You should know that people will eventually realize what a crook you are.Customers looking to have work done on their vehicles should BEWARE of this shop!!!!He will charge you whatever labor time he wants base on his lack of knowledge.I will make sure that everybody in the vw community is aware of the lack of intergrity and sketchy business practices that this business employs.
