I used to dread the shampooing of my hair because the sinks always hurt my neck, but Sage Tryall's sinks have head rests so no strain on my neck. Their quiet shampoo room feels like a spa. I love those 10-15 minutes of a head and neck massage when I visit! Eric has helped me tame my frizz with a good cut and knowledgeable explanations of how the salon focuses on hair integrity. I highly recommend this salon!
Hair type: I have natural curl that easily turns frizzy. Eric gave me many pointers that allow me to keep my hair shoulder length.

I have been going to Sage Tryall for about a year and really liked it. This last time I went into my appointment looking for a change. I asked for shoulder length hair with some layers for texture, I like my hair extremely low maintenance and I have a bit of a curl naturally. My stylist convinced my to go even shorter so that it wouldn't start flipping over my shoulders in a few weeks and I reluctantly agreed. The style was incredibly nice as always and took about 10in off in total. I went home and after the first wash I noticed it was extremely uneven and chopped up. I have tried tons of products and tools, any style from straight to tiny curls and I hate it. There isn't enough hair to even put up so I'm left to just let it grow out. At the end of the day it's just hair and it will grow out but..man...

I am the worst when it comes to getting my hair cut. I hate paying for it and used to only do it once a year or so. Then I tried Sage Tryall. I've been going there for a few years now. I've used several of the stylists and everyone is amazing. It's such a fun and friendly atmosphere and they all are so encouraging on my natural transformation into gray hair, not pushing any coloring or anything. This is the first place that I have had the comfort to say "you're the professional, do what you want!" Love this place and will continue to go there!!!!

I cannot say enough about my experience. The atmosphere is so friendly, everyone cheers everyone on and they work as a team. Emily did my hair and it was an amazing job. Absolutely beautiful. Shower her what I wanted, she explained to me how we were going to do it. I love it. Highly recommend this place. Alot of talent is there.

This was my first visit to Sage Tryall. I made an appointment for a haircut and color consultation with Nicole, one of their Diamond-level stylists. From the moment I walked into the salon until the moment I left, my experience was exceptional. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Although the salon was quite busy, customer service was excellent. I was very pleased with my haircut and blowout, but the best part had to be the shampoo room experience! It's a unique setup and the head and neck massage is so relaxing. The only con I can think of is that it's difficult to get an appointment without booking out a couple of months in advance with some of their most popular stylists. But, I think that's a testament to how great this place is.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I thought long before I decided to actually write this review. Multiple people that I have shown my hair to have requested that I do it. I came to Sage Tryall to get a blonde balayage. I started off telling the women doing my hair the things I hated about my hair. I previously had my hair lightened at another salon before attempting to go to Sage for a blonde balayage. With that, it should have been easier to attempt because my hair was light. After the coloring and blow drying there was no "Omg! I love it!" Instead, I was told, "I'll be right back." After sitting there for 10 minutes I looked around and noticed several employees looking at my hair and talking about it. My hair had come out a brassy blotchy mess. I was then approached by another hair stylist who explained that we could either leave it the way it was or throw a gloss on top of it. Of course, I did not want my hair to be brassy and have bleach blots in it, so I said let's put a gloss on it. It was a little better but not anything like the blonde balayage I had requested. I left and was depressed about spending over 300 dollars for hair that was not great. I received a phone call after I left a review the next day offering to fix my hair complementary. I also went to my husband's hairdresser and she informed me of what went wrong. She said they took the bleach out too fast and that it was clear they had started with the back and worked their way to the top because the underneath was more light than the top. I took off work to get my hair fixed and returned to this salon. While getting my hair done for the second time I asked if I was charged for the gloss thrown on my hair the previous time and was told yes. The girl who redid my hair was super sweet and I'm sure she does a fine job with hair. None of this is her fault. However, I have brown hair now. All over brown that received damage in the process of trying to be blonde. I'm truly upset that I was not told by the original hair stylist that she did not think she could achieve blonde balayage. I'm upset that I was charged for gloss to "fix" my hair. I'm upset that I took time off work to try and have my hair fixed to only end up with brown. The women at my work and everyone I know have said you need to leave a review, so people know not to go there for blonde. And everyone is appalled that I paid 300 dollars for this hair. I've asked so many people about my hair and they just think I was taken advantage of.

Great place. Everyone makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. Mostly, they listen to what you want done to your hair.

After decades of going to the same salon and paying ridiculously high prices, I decided to mix things up a bit and try Sage Tryall Salon. Now, I'm kicking myself for not going sooner! Frankly, I was super nervous trying a new place but, after being patient while I described what I was hoping to achieve, Reba (my stylist) hit it out of the park. The service started with a wonderful hair washing in literally the most comfortable washing station I ever experienced. There was no jerking or tipping my head way back! There's also footstool to make the chair comfortable on my back. After a deep scrub and scalp massage, Reba worked her hair-cutting magic and then gave me a wonderful blow-out. The result: hair perfection! I couldn't ask for another better haircut, and it was at a reasonable price. Thank you, Reba! See you in a couple months!
