I had the pleasure of shopping at the SafGard Store in Lynchburg, VA on July 31,2024. The store associate, Dean, was most helpful in finding a work boot that I had used before. He also offered very helpful advice on selecting a second pair of Sketchers Slip In Composite Toe shoes. He was very attentive to my needs, taking all the time needed for me to decide. Dean also has an outstanding personality for dealing with the public. He made my shopping trip a pleasure.

He's very honest about his products... I was looking at a pair looked very nice... You say yes they might look nice but there are not comfortable at all.. so if you like them cause they look cute should get them if you like them for comfort don't get them....I like the honesty

The best best best customers service. I needed slip resistant shoes with good support for long hours of standing. It was very clear they cared about me being happy over selling me the most expensive shoes. The listened to my needs and I ended up with the SRMax which I have had almost a year now and could not be happier.

10/10 experience. I didn’t catch the name of the guy who helped me, but he was very friendly and his recommendation was spot on. Shoes fit me perfectly and are great for the job I do. He ordered them for me and they arrived in just a few days. Highly recommend :)

Great selection of work shoes. They have sizes bigger than 13. If they dont, Dean can order them and get them in a couple of days.

Dean has been great to work with, I think this is the 3rd pair of boots I got from him over the last few years and it's nice to see the familiar face and not a new person every time. Actually I was just telling a coworker the other day that Dean was a helpful fella over at this store after the topic came up that I needed some work boots. One alternate company I got boots from before Dean was far more big-box-store style and I think more expensive too but without the service. Worth stopping by to see Dean.
