Had a friend go here to get their car fixed..they were told it would be around 275-300$ after all was said and done. The guy who runs the shop ended up charging them $525 because he decided to fix another thing on the car without authorization to do so. On top of that, he claims he can’t give invoices out. I think this is absolutely ridiculous and they should have never been charged $525. I wouldn’t go here if I were you..better off ordering your parts online and learning to fix on your car yourself. ?

I have always had a nervous feeling dealing with Auto Mechanics. I know almost nothing about cars, outside of the 710 cap.I recently found Pit Stop Auto Services and brought them a 20 year old vehicle to go through.There were some problems with the vehicle, but I didn't pay a lot for it, when I bought it, and wanted to get it in the best condition that I could, for personal and business use.The people I dealt with, from the Mechanics to the Owner, were not only communicative, but thorough and honest about my vehicle and what needed to be done.The final bill was a little more than we all expected, and they not only took it upon themselves to make some adjustments to make the hit a little easier, but also, because the estimate was more than what I expected, based on a conversation a couple of days prior, offered to work with me on payment.I didn't hesitate to pay the entire bill, on the spot. I won't hesitate to go back again, the next time I need something done and I won't hesitate to tell everyone I know to go there and get work done.Being someone who spent 20-30 years in a service/repair industry, please remember that they are great at what they do, and they will do it great for you too, if you let them. Calling a couple of hours after you drop something off for repair that you have not cared for for years and expecting it to be magically fixed like magic, not only.slows down the process of repairing your stuff, but everyone's stuff. Patience comes to those who wait. LOL Let them do what they need to do, in the time they need to do it, and you will be pleased as well.
