Hands down, if you're in the Lynchburg area, bring your lamps to Thorne! Very knowledgable, reasonable and always does an awesome job. So friendly and fun to talk to as well.

I’ve been using McCraw’s for years - for repairs, rewiring, even for turning normal objects into lighting! The turnaround time is quick and pricing always reasonable.

I asked to purchase all of the components to rewire 5 lamps. the clerk started to pull cords out of a bag and I stated that I did not want the one that looked damaged because I am handicapped and could not easily return it. He became angry and stated that he was not going to take (expletive) off of anyone. He refused to sell me the more than $100 in product. I will not return though I have been a customer of many years.

I have never actually set foot in McCraw's and after my phone call to them this afternoon, I never will. I called this afternoon (Sunday) and a gentleman answered "hello". I said "Hi! I just wanted to know if you sold nursery furniture" and he said "Not on a Sunday!" I then said "I'm sorry, but you answered your phone so I thought you were open.." but before I could finish the gentleman hung up on me. VERY RUDE and unprofessional! I will never send any business there nor will I ever go there. I understand if you are not open on sunday but how was I to know that your business phone is your personal phone?!!!!
