Just stopped in because my tire pressure was low. Mind you, I have only ever gotten air at Sheetz, so I was a little lost. One of the guys in there (I didn't get his name) came right up and offered some assistance and he filled my tires up with air for me, free of charge. He was extremely kind and professional. I am new to the area, so I'll definitely be coming back for all of my auto needs. Thank you for a great experience! :)

I've taken my car there for minor body work twice. They did a great job. Quick and affordable.

Went to get my car fixed. Needed a radiator and thermostat and the cooling system fluid flush. They charged me over $1400. Picked it up on Monday. Had to take my great grandkids to Warrenton to be picked my their grandmother. Got pass Lovingston and the car broke again. Had to get a tow from Lovingston back to the gas station. Costed me $150 for tow. Left the car in front of bay doors. Got a call from Greg saying a lower hose had a hole in it. They fixed so I told them they s

I went in to have someone check for low air pressure in one of my car tires. The attendant was very nice and professional. He took time out on a relatively busy morning to assist me. He also checked the tire to make sure there was no object in it. Contrary to their counterpart next door, I recommend Marathon service station on Boonsboro Road for your auto needs.

I have been going here to service my car here for 4 years now. Greg and his team are so good and caring. They are extremely helpful, accommodating and trustworthy. They are very patient and take the time to explain to you what is going on with your car. They are very affordable. I would highly suggest going here!

Took my jeep in for brakes and the work was done quickly and correctly! The mechanics seem to really know what they’re doing and they seem to enjoy their job, no up sells or crazy quotes like some of the previous reviews seem to say. They informed me of Chrysler recommended service and that my rear brakes would need to be replaced (which I knew about already just waiting on the funds) I will def be going back, THANKS GUYS!

My inspection was overdue. Greg was timely, flexible, and pleasant in getting me scheduled. Car had an unexpected defect. He explained it clearly and obtained the replacement part the next day. Work was done quickly and for the agreed-upon price. Getting your car inspected and repaired is no one's favorite activity but Greg made it relatively painless. I'll go back.

I too had a worrisome experience at this garage. While our older car probably needed some repairs to pass inspection, the items these mechanics found were not worn out. The lack of communication was appalling as they ignored us for 40 minutes whilst compiling a $1,500 estimate in order to pass inspection. Half-star for the re-inspection after I put the parts on the car myself for $200. I got the impression they don't play fair. The waiting area smells of exhaust fumes but the seats were comfortable. The other half-star is for how quickly I got the original inspection appointment. In all fairness, I believe unscrupulous mechanics abuse the inspection process to generate revenue.

Wish I could give ZERO stars. Unfortunately for us we have spent thousands of dollars on repairs here. The most recent they kept my car for over a MONTH. My husband travels for work so I'm alone most of the week--I NEED MY CAR. They never called us once--we had to finally call to find out what was going on. After a month we got the car back, drove it off the premises and something else was immediately wrong--like that day. Over the course of that week TWO MORE THINGS WENT WRONG. Took it back and they kept it ANOTHER 2 weeks. Got it back and something ELSE was wrong and another thing wasn't fixed. Ludicrous. Lazy. Ridiculous. The owner, Greg, took zero responsibility and we had to pay to get the car back. We had to pay more than the car is worth. At the same time, my in-laws had a separate bad experience and they no longer use Marathon. Same with my neighbors. I have told everyone I know about this experience and have found multiple people saying the same thing--that they no longer use this place. I won't even get gas there--I use the Exxon next door and the Shell up the road. Like another reviewer said--we now use Harris Tire and have found them to be honest, decent and a whole hell of a lot nicer than Greg. I will tell you what I have told anyone in Lynchburg who will listen: GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. I highly recommend Harris Tire. I hope this place goes out of business. Greg has a really nice house and now I see why. So gross.

Avoid this place. Prices are VERY high. Also, they don't honor the schedule they promise. My car was moved down the prioirty list 3 times and was finally ready 3 days after they said it would be ready - not because they were waiting on parts, but because they just got "busy" and, for some reason, had to do other work before mine.

Do not get your vehicle repaired here. They try to sell you on unnecessary repairs. Bad experience. I had a flat tire with a nail in it and they said they could not patch it because it was too close to rim, wanted to charge me $250.00 for a new tire. I took it to Harris Tire and they removed the nail and patched the tire for $5.00. On another visit ,I took my car in for an oil change and they said I needed a new battery at $148.00 which I did not replace. Car starts fine with original battery. On car inspections , they are guilty as well explaining to you that your vehicle is in need of unnecessary repairs. All I can said is, "customer/buyer beware". Do not trade here.

I had my vehicle towed to Boonsboro location with a flat tire. I had two tires replaced. While I was there, the service tech indicated that I needed the right upper ball joint replaced. He said it was in dangerous condition. I took the vehicle to my usual mechanic for the repair and he said it was fine and did not need replacing. He DID point out that my rear tires are dry rotted and worn so that the cords are showing! This is unacceptable. Instead of recommending unnecessary repairs, one would expect a TIRE store to notice tires worn to this dangerous degree. I am very dissatisfied with the service.
