I really like Kroger so if there is one in the town I'm visiting , I'm gonna come here! This location in Lynchburg was like less than 10 mins from where we were staying. I find that early morning shopping is the way to go. Easy to navigate and get in and out. This was no different. The layout is nice as well as the inventory. I really appreciate seeing different items I hadn't seen in other stores. Always a PLUS! We were able to get all we needed and some more. The staff here is really nice and helpful.I will add that this location is very busy in the evenings( I had to return to exchange something); due to staffing shortages. Lines were extremely long.

Giving three stars because it's the closest location and the staff is generally nice. It's small in here. No updates or renovations. You can't really find anything you need in here because the app shows the wrong aisle number for most items. I prefer the Timberlake location due to the selection, although the staff isn't really as nice as Wards.

Please train your employees. When doing a pick up order and someone orders 2 4 packs of soup 2 individual cans is not an acceptable substitute. 8 cans would be the equivalent. Coupons have not been asked for on the last 2 visits(Elishva was her name last time) your customer service reps in the evening are down right rude. They blame the customer for not giving the coupons to the click list associate and when asked for the money to be put back on the original form of payment

I was just in the store. 3 people without masks just at the front of the store. one turned around and started walking towards me and verbally assaulted me when I asked her to keep her distance. we had stopped and were backing up trying to keep our distance. people shouldn't be allowed to shop inside without a mask.

Organic selection of meat is VERY limited. I am constantly unable to get what I need due to lack of stock. Needed shredded sharp cheddar cheese in larger quantity--empty at 9:00 am on a Sunday morning.

Competitive prices on deli meats. Great prices on the items made in store. Generally the very good deals on rotisserie chicken and fried chicken.

This place is the epicenter of my families grocery shopping. Between their free fruit for my boys and their prices deals and online coupons, we can easily get 130$ worth of stuff and come out only spending and 70$. And the fuel point bonus for receipt survey and gift cards, is a really big budget help

Grocery Store Kroger is the 500 lb gorilla in the Lynchburg area when it comes to grocery stores. There are three locations with this one being the smallest (and presumably the oldest) in the group. Like the other locations, this Kroger is a full service, multi-department establishment, and like the other locations, they excel in certain areas. Large selection of name brand goods and a pretty robust selection of store brand products give you a decent choice on how to spend your money to meet your needs. Being smaller, it seems a bit cramped here even with the new renovation which was long overdue and really cleaned up the look of the place. Like the other local locations, there is a gas station on the property which is generally cheap and downright a steal when you factor in the Kroger points you get for shopping. All in all a good spot to get your pantry loaded up or to pick up your family needs. Prices are hit or miss - mostly good but like any supermarket, you should be cognizant of what things cost. Large but busy parking lot in front.

I like this Kroger but for the longest time it was just all over the place and had a terrible smell. I think it's gotten better tho.
