They will let you die they are horrible at answering the phones you can never get in touch with them their appointments are least a month or two behind if you get an appointment you'll be in there two hours past your appointment time.

been trying for weeks to get my thyroid meds refilled, automated phone system gives no option to speak to a person, and when I had my initial appointment it took two hours to be seen and I felt totally brushed off and they tried charging me $300 for the doctor to say "you need your needs refilled? Done, have a good day" and leaving. Terrible place do NOT go here.

I wish I could write a review for a specific provider. It's not fair to lump the good providers and the admin staff with the likes of Jennifer Kilel in Rustburg. I was assigned Kilel because she was taking new patients. The initial visit, she was all smiles and "I'm here to help you." Subsequent visits saw the REAL provider -- one that is arrogant and doesn't listen. She told me I was fat and my hair was falling out by the handfuls because I was "OLD"! When the labs came back that I have a condition that causes both weight gain and hair loss, do you think there was any type of apology? Nope. I got WORSE under her care as proven by lab work. In one instance, I sent a message to follow up on a lab result that SHE said I should be tested for (and had ordered the bloodwork), she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and wouldn't acknowledge that she/the staff lost my bloodwork. Mistakes happen but she needs to own it! She said, "if you're interested in XYZ Test, you should make an appointment." OMG! SHE IS THE ONE THAT ORDERED IT AND THEY TOOK MY BLOOD. The test was HER IDEA. I sent her a message saying I was getting worse, would she consider changing my medicine dose. She told me "If you are feeling poorly, go to the ER." Yeah, right, I'm gonna go the ER for a thyroid issue! This woman either doesn't care for patients in general, hates me specifically, or suffers herself from early dementia. If they stick you with this provider, my advice is to RUN.

I have been going to JHC for about 20 years. I have had very good general practitioners/doctors there. I have had very good referrals when needed. The doctors have taken time with me and listened to my issues. There have been retirements and other changes so the doctors changed. My experience with each doctor has been good. I am completely satisfied with my healthcare. In the past the phone service was a problem but that has been corrected. I have been able to do a walk-in getting an appointment the same day I called. My one issue now is that I cannot send a message through the patient site that was available before. I don't know why this has changed but I would like to be able to send messages to my doctor as before. It helped get info or ask questions.

This pharmacy has always been so helpful and has great service. I seldom have to wait to get my meds, and they're very good about calling your doctor about a script if necessary. I highly recommend them. :-)

The dental clinic is awesome! Just built last year so all the equipment is new. They have TVs in each patient room! Dr. McAuliffe is very friendly and awesome!
