Arrived at 11:45p to pick up my reserved car. No representative- left without a car. Came back at 8:00a. Still no representative. Need to find another rental agency.

I rented a car from them over a month ago, it was stated that I had to place a $50 down payment, and I would get it back after I returned the car. I have called, came by, etc, the woman I spoke to stated 'we let the hold go the day the car is returned so you will have to speak to the bank.' I have spoken to the bank, and they do not have anything pending that is also not how that works. I am LIVID, and will be contacting them over and over ahain until I get my money back. Once I do, I'll change my review but as of now, this place is a joke!

This location is not at the airport. When you land you need to call them and it takes about 30 minutes for them to show up and take you to the rental car location.

Just know there is only location in Lynchburg and it's on old forest rd. No longer at airport and other car rental agencies there will have you running all over town.

The worst company to deal with. We were overcharged and could not get a person to check the vehicle in because they come and go as they please so no one was ever there. And when you call customer service you stay on hold forever just to be hung up on. We will NEVER rent from this company again.

I reserved a vehicle for my out of town meeting at the Lynchburg airport location. When I arrived the vehicle I reserved from the Hertz corporate website was not available. I was given a really TINY car since that was the only car available. I normally drive an F350 dually. Needless to say I was a little frustrated because I had to drive quite a distance for this meeting in what felt like a roller skate. Upon leaving the airport, the right rear wheel bearing was obviously going bad and I called the counter for a replacement vehicle. THIS IS WHERE THE REVIEW GETS BETTER!Kelsie, the Hertz rental agent, was able to immediately find me a better vehicle in the class I originally reserved. She met me with the new vehicle and I was able to make my meeting out of town. The ride was also a lot more comfortable than driving that roller skate I was given. If it wasn't for Kelsie, I would be another former customer of Hertz. Kelsie saved the day. Hertz needs a lot more employees like Kelsie! I'm giving this review 3 Stars because of her and all the stars belong to her only. 5 stars is not possible because Hertz corporation put her in an unfavorable position. Thanks Kelsie!

THE WORST!!!!! Customer service and company I have ever dealth with. They charged us 200$ more than we were quoted and suprised us with that at the airport when we picked up the car. When calling to ask when that 200$ would be refunded (we budgeted to use that money for food on our trip) we got 3 different answers ranging from 24 hours to 7 business days. Thank you Hertz for completely ruining our trip and giving me a good 5 hours of tears on my first night, over an hour of being hung up on by international representatives who genually didn't care about my Situation, and no money to buy dinner. I can assure you we will NEVER rent from your company again and I suggest anyone looking to rent a car avoids this scam and poor customer service "rental car company."

Pleasant and courteous service but they don't really review the details. Kind of basic. I had to ask what kind of car I have. Definitely small town feel.

We received a car that had the tire pressure light on when we first entered the car. After talking to the front desk agent who did not apologize, they "fixed" the issue and guaranteed that there would be no problems or leaks. The light then preceded to come on after 200 miles and then came on a second time after the tire was refilled again. My wife took the car in and they gave us a replacement car but never apologized for our inconvenience. After a good experience my first time at this Hertz location, I was very disappointed in the customer service for this rental.

Hertz in lynchburg is the worst plaxe to fent from the scam people. They double charged me. I resevered a car for a week prepaid it for 253$ plus the 200$ deposite. So i dropped it off yeaterday. And cleaned it out good to get my 200$ deposite back but When i checked my bank account this morning they had taken another 340$ and never retured my deposite. That make it almost 800$ to rent a lil p.o.s car for a week.

Have been trying to get an issue resolved in regards to a future rental. I have left a voicemail and came in person and left my contact information, no call back. I never like to leave bad reviews but so far this has not been pleasant.
