“Rodney Hubbard and his mechanics Shane and Bobby are an example of how a small business should operate.After a near tragedy blowing out the brakes of my vehicle on the highway while traveling from GA to PA I googled mechanics nearby. I decided to call Hubbards in Lynchburg near where I was staying for the weekend.Rodney listened to my issue and took me in right away on a Saturday. They were all ready and prepared. Shane and Bobby worked on my brakes and were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns. While I waited there they welcomed me and were always attentive to my concerns. Not just great mechanics but awesome people!Rodney was super personable and put me at ease while he made sure the parts were ordered and even picked them up for me to speed up the process. “I had a FORD Ranger 1993 XLT truck that needed some starter work on it. They researched carefully, confirmed the issue, gave me my options and I asked questions and got honest answers. Very Honest and was in line with what I was thinking. Very few places will work on older vehicles and they will. I would check with them as it makes sense that some older vehicles they would not work on due the the skills and requirements needed. I highly recommend this shop. I am definitely going back for other service work as needed including Annual Inspections.”

“I've done business with Ed's Automotive for several years, with multiple vehicles. I was first referred to Ed's by another shop when a check engine code indicated a catalytic converter failure on a vehicle with over 200,000 miles. This was a major repair that Ed's completed efficiently and at a reasonable price. Later, with the same vehicle, I had a problem that stumped my regular mechanic. Ed's technician took a ride with me to experience the odd noise first-hand, then stood outside the vehicle and listened while I shifted alternately from drive to reverse. He suspected a failing transaxle, which turned out to be the problem. It was replaced and I was a happy customer. I was most impressed when the mechanic took the time to understand the problem.
